Systems and methods for conduit deburring include rotational bits and/or supporting structure for reducing burrs on conduit or other pipe or tubing, which often result from cutting. Certain devices simultaneously act on an entire circumference of a tubular end opening. Other devices act on only a portion of a circumference of a tubular end opening, but are guided, registered, or oriented for travel along the circumference to cut a chamfer of a predetermined angle along an interior edge thereof.

PIPE CUTTER WITH GAUGE AND REAMER/BEVELLER OF CUT PIPE EDGES
20170259342 · 2017-09-14 ·

A pipe cutter with gauge and reamer/beveller of the cut edges of pipe. On the body of the pipe cutter there is at least one gauge; between it and the body a cavity is delimited capable of accepting the end of a pipe (t); each gauge having on its end a mouth that varies its diameter between a minimum (d1) at its base and a maximum (d) that coincides with the gauge of the pipe (t) it accepts. There is also at least one blade on each existing gauge or on a beveller equipped with one or several portions (S) with at least one blade on each of them. A pipe (t) is inserted in the corresponding gauge, first gauging the diameter of its cut edge and then the blades simultaneously bevel and ream the cut pipe (t) edge.

Orthopaedic redressing device

A redressing device (100) for redressing a tapered portion (12) of an orthopaedic implant (10) comprising: a grinding member (110) adapted to engage the tapered portion (12); an adjustable guide element (130) for defining, at least in part, the degree of redressing required for said tapered portion (12) by a user; and a drive shaft (120) for driving movement of said grinding member (110). A device for retaining debris produced during redressing a tapered portion (12) of an orthopaedic implant (12), a surgical kit for redressing a tapered portion (12) of an orthopaedic implant (10) and a method of redressing a tapered portion (12) of an orthopaedic implant (10) are also provided.

The present disclosure provides a deburring apparatus and a deburring method that does not require a positioning engagement part that is engaged with a fixed part of a machine tool. The deburring apparatus (10) includes a housing (1) with a shank (11), a transmission rod (3), a recovery rod (5), a tilting shaft (4), a spring (6), a holder (7), and a rotary-to-rectilinear motion conversion mechanism (9) with a plunger (8). The spring forces the recovery rod toward the tilting shaft. The holder for fixing the cutter (101) is arranged on the tilting shaft in a manner rotatable through a predetermined rotation angle. The rotary-to-rectilinear motion conversion mechanism separates the first flange portion from the second flange portion and brings the plunger into contact with the recovery rod on the tilting axis (43) when the holder rotates in a direction opposite to the rotation direction of the shank (11).
