In a tool holding portion of a machining tool, a cartridge is provided so as to be movable forward and backward. A cam accommodated inside a cam accommodation portion rotates while the cam is in abutment against the cartridge to thereby move the cartridge forward and backward. A rod which moves forward and backward inside a tool body along an axis is provided with an abutment portion. The abutment portion abuts against an abutment position of the cam according to the forward and backward movement of the rod to thereby rotate the cam. A restriction mechanism is capable of adjusting the phase of the cam when the abutment portion is apart from the abutment position so that a reference position is reached where the abutment position faces the abutment portion.

A rotary cutting tool is provided that includes a shank and a body. The body extends axially outwardly from the shank, and has a plurality of first teeth and a plurality of second teeth. The first and second teeth are alternately arranged and spaced apart from one another around a circumference. Each first tooth includes a primary cutting edge disposed at a primary angle relative to the rotational axis and a tertiary cutting edge disposed at a tertiary angle relative to the rotational axis. Each second tooth includes a secondary cutting edge disposed at a secondary angle relative to the rotational axis. The secondary cutting edge is disposed axially between the primary cutting edge and the tertiary cutting edge.

Replaceable seat seal assembly

A replaceable seat seal assembly is used to form a replaceable portion of the ram cavity in a BOP that allows the central portion of the ram cavity to be replaced when wear occurs. A method is provided to refurbish a BOP that has a worn ram cavity with a replaceable portion of the ram cavity. The replaceable seat seal assembly includes a plurality of inserts such as a top insert, bottom insert, and two side inserts. The inserts of the replaceable seat seal assembly are positioned within one or more pockets or recesses machined into the ram cavity and throughbore. The inserts can be readily replaced for convenient maintenance without the need for heat treatments, welding, and the like that is normally needed to repair a used ram cavity.

SEALING SURFACE PROCESSING MACHINE AND METHOD

A sealing surface processing machine cuts an attachment surface of a seal member in a valve main body. The machine includes a pedestal attached to the valve main body; a main body movably supported on the pedestal; a tool holder configured to hold a tool for processing the attachment surface; a rotating part configured to rotate the tool holder around an axis parallel to a movement direction of a valve body; a first moving part configured to move the tool holder along a first direction along which the valve body moves; a second moving part configured to move the tool holder along a second direction intersecting with the movement direction of the valve body; a first adjustment device configured to adjust a position of the main body in the first direction; and a second adjustment device configured to adjust a position of the main body in the second direction.
