Method of machining an opening in a plurality of blanks
A method and a system are disclosed for making an article of manufacture from a blank defining an internal opening. A stack of blanks are aligned and the internal openings of the blanks in the stack of blanks are machined by a rotary cutting tool to a finished dimension. The blanks are clamped together before machining in a numerically controlled machine tool. The blanks are subsequently formed individually in a sheet metal forming operation in which the inner perimeter of the internal openings is expanded as the blank is formed.
Device for Machining Window or Door Frames Welded from Profile Pieces
The invention relates to a device for machining frames welded from profile pieces such as window or door frames made of plastic, said device comprising at least one machining head and machining tools which are mounted thereon and can be delivered to the relevant machining position on the frames. The machining head can be pivoted around an axis and has a positioning shaft which is mounted at an angle with respect to the pivot axis and on which the machining tools are mounted. The positioning shaft extends on both sides of the machining head with machining tools at both end regions of the positioning shaft.
Finishing device
The invention relates to a finishing device for removing the weld bead generated during welding of a window or door frame or frame section at the mitered surfaces, wherein the finishing device comprises a support surface for the frame or frame section and a processing arm for supporting a tool holder, and the processing arm consists of a plurality of arm elements that move in hinged fashion relative to one another but can also be fixed in place, wherein the tool holder comprises at least two cutting tools driven by a rotational drive, said tools rotating about a tool axis and at least one tool laterally next to the blade of the tool, contact sides.
Window cleaning system and method
A window processing system and method for use in fabricating window frames or sashes. The system includes an articulating arm having a plurality of members and arms to allow movement about multiple axes defined by the articulating arm. The system further includes a tool support fixture assembly coupled to an outermost member of the plurality of members, the tool support fixture assembly includes a plurality of tools for performing cleaning operations on a window frame or sash during use.
Device for machining rod-shaped workpieces such as window profiles or door profiles
A device is provided for machining rod-shaped workpieces such as window profiles or door profiles. The workpieces can be moved in a horizontal plane in a Z direction by a transport device. A machining device with tools is provided in a plane arranged substantially vertically to the direction of movement of the workpieces, which machining device is spatially oriented in the vertical plane in relation to the workpiece. The machining device includes an open arc arranged in the vertical plane to the workpiece, the arc being mounted to rotate about the workpiece in the Z axis as an open flat ring.
