Cutting device with integrated and interruptible auxiliary power supply
An improved cutting device with an integrated and interruptible auxiliary power supply. In a preferred embodiment, the improved cutting device is a miter saw having a trigger mechanism for controlling a cutting implement, and at least one 120V or 240V auxiliary power outlet. Electrical power is only provided to the cutting implement and the auxiliary power outlet when the triggering or a similar mechanism is activated, and the release of the triggering mechanism by the user automatically shuts off electrical power to both the cutting implement and the at least one auxiliary power outlet. The auxiliary power outlet is useful for powering any number of different accessories including, without limitation, a light, vacuum source, etc., and is repositionable.
WORKING MACHINE
A working machine includes a working part; a motor configured to drive the working part; a motor housing covering at least a part of the motor; an outer housing covering at least a part of the motor and at least a part of the motor housing; and a light emitter disposed at a part of the motor housing that is covered by the outer housing. The outer housing includes an opening at a part of the outer housing that faces the light emitter. The opening allows light emitted from the light emitter to pass through the opening.

SAW SLIDE DEVICE
A sliding compound miter saw slide device allows a user to easily and accurately move a saw for proper alignment with a cutting material or workpiece. The sliding saw slide device integrates an adjustment or alignment mechanism configured to move an upper base portion of the saw base relative to a lower base portion of the saw base. In addition, a sliding saw stand allows a user to easily and accurately move a saw for proper alignment with a cutting material or workpiece. The sliding saw stand integrates an adjustment or alignment mechanism configured to move an upper miter saw mount member/plate relative to the saw stand base/base frame.
Cable cutter saw
A metal clad electrical cable saw cuts cable laying in a concave track. A cross-cut saw cuts entirely though the cable making the cable into two cables. Two slitting saws cut outer armor of the cable at two places approximately nine inches from the cross-cut to allow removing the severed outer armor. The two slitting saws cut through one or more overlapping rings of metal that form the outer armor which is of an extruded interlocking design, thereby allowing the outer armor to be removed exposing the electrical wires. Slitting blade guards protect an operator's hands while cutting the cable. The exposed electrical wires may be inserted into an electrical box for connection and the remaining outer armor typically “stops” inside an electrical connector. The connector secures the cable in accordance with applicable practice and code requirements.
Electric saw
The invention relates to an electric saw comprising: a frame (2) mounted on a base (1), a cutting head (3) mounted on the frame by using a rotating shaft (4) in the vertical direction and an adjustable stop (5) limiting the descent of the head and the cutting depth. The adjustable stop (5) comprises: a rod (51) mounted in a through manner, with the possibility of longitudinal sliding, in a passage (53) defined in the cutting head (3) and facing a fixed stop (21) defined in the frame (2); and a screw (54) for lateral tightening and fixing of the rod (51) inside the passage (53). The screw (54) comprises an actuation knob (55) and is threadedly mounted in a hole defined in the cutting head (3) and leading into the mounting passage (53) of the rod (51).
Multi-link miter saw
A multi-link miter saw includes a base, a table supported on the base, a supporting unit connected to the table, a linkage unit connected to the supporting unit, a cantilever arm unit including a cantilever arm pivotally connected to the linkage unit and a connection member pivotally connected between the cantilever arm and the linkage unit for enabling the cantilever arm to be driven by the linkage unit and the connection member to move along a horizontal axis between the rear edge and front edge of the base, and a cutting unit pivotally connected to the cantilever arm unit. Based on the arrangement of the linkage unit and the cantilever arm unit, the cutting unit can be moved smoothly relative to the table, thus enhancing operation stability.
CONTROL AND POWER MODULE FOR DRIVING A BRUSHLESS MOTOR IN A POWER TOOL
A power tool is provided including a tool housing, a brushless DC (BLDC) motor assembly disposed within the tool housing, and a power module including a printed circuit board (PCB) and power switches mounted on the PCB and electrically coupled to the motor assembly. The PCB includes a width that is greater than a diameter of the motor assembly. A mounting bracket is secured to an end of the motor assembly and includes a mating portion arranged to mate with the end of the motor assembly, mount posts extending radially-outwardly from the mating portion, and axial walls extending between outer ends of the mount posts and at least partially housing the power module to support the PCB in a substantially parallel orientation relative to the rear end of the motor assembly.
POWER MITER SAW HAVING A FENCE WITH ELEVATED PLATFORMS
A power miter saw includes a base assembly including a frame, cavities on a bottom of the frame, two supports at two sides of the frame respectively, and two parallel sliding rods passing through one support; a table assembly including a rotatable table mounted on the frame, a miter arm secured to the rotatable table, and a fence at an edge of the rotatable table and secured to the supports; and a saw blade and motor assembly. The fence includes a central curved top, two platforms at two ends of the central curved top respectively, two shoulders each at a joining portion of the curved top and the adjacent platform, and two aligned grooved members each extending outward from a position proximate the platform. The platforms are at an elevation greater than that of the miter arm.
TABLETOP CUTTING DEVICE
Two 18V-type rechargeable batteries (31 and 31) are attached in series so as to allow a 36V-type tabletop cutting device (C1) to be utilized. By utilizing the 18V batteries which are highly prevalent for electric tools, it is possible to use the 36V-type tabletop cutting device (C1) as well as to reduce costs for the batteries.
