Method and device for cutting a plate or panel of porous construction material
A device for cutting a plate or panel of porous construction material includes a movement structure that moves the plate or panel and includes at least one conveyor, and which is able to move in a direction (X). The device also includes a wire to cut the plate or panel and a structure for passing the wire in a direction (Y) perpendicular to the direction (X) of travel of the plate or panel. The device for cutting allows a cut to be made that greatly limits the waste and dust generated.
Method for machining plate material by using linear saw and numerical control saw machine apparatus
Provided are a method for machining a plate material by using a linear saw, and a numerical control saw machine apparatus. The numerical control saw machine apparatus includes: two carrying mechanisms, which are connected to two ends of a linear saw respectively; at least one control motor, configured for adjusting a distance between the two carrying mechanisms; and a pair of vibration motors, configured for driving the vibration of the linear saw, wherein, the distance between the two carrying mechanisms is adjusted by the control motor based on a monitored change in a torque of the control motor.
SPIN-SAW MACHINE
An overhead sawing device comprising a central frame, a cutting cable, a driving unit, a first and a second arms configured to deflect the cutting cable to a lower level, at least two rotatable arms configured to receive the cutting cable from the higher level and to guide said cable during a cut. The device further includes a telescopic cable tensioning element. A method of operating the device is also provided, which method permits the execution of a continuous cut without repositioning the device, even in confined spaces.
Wire saw
A device for cutting a length of pipe includes a clamp portion for clamping around a length of pipe and a bow moveable with respect to the clamp portion that retains a loop of diamond embedded wire. The device further includes a feed for driving the bow with respect to the clamp portion and a detector for detecting bending of the wire and a control responsive to the detector for controlling feed rates. The device is made of modular parts and has synchronizing arms for clamping around a length of pipe. In one embodiment, the wheels are retained in enclosures with slots through which the cutting wire passes.
Salvage Sawing System and Method
The present invention relates to a wire cutting system and method for subsea cutting of large structures (6). The system includes two feeding towers (2) with feeding tower first ends secured into a seabed floor. A crossbeam (1) is located between the two feeding towers (2). Wire feeding trolleys (8) are connected to the feeding towers (2), whereby the wire feeding trolleys (8) are allowed to move a cutting distance along the feeding towers. A cutting wire (4) traverses between the wire feeding trolleys.
Cutting apparatus including a visual tension indicator mechanism
A cutting apparatus and the method of operating same is provided. The apparatus includes a feed tower assembly configured to be attached to an object and a frame base plate movably attached thereto. The frame base plate has a pivotable arm assembly and an arm wheel thereon which accept a cutting member. A visual tension indicator is operably connected to the frame base plate and the arm assembly and configured to indicate an amount of tension applied to the cutting member.
HORIZONTAL MULTI DIAMOND WIRE SAW CUTTING MACHINE
A horizontal multi diamond wire saw cutting machine in a closed loop running in a coaxial motion toward stone blocks allowing a cutting force direction to each other, the cutting direction of DW is in horizontal motion-whether stone blocks toward machine or machine running toward blocks- and tension system made of one tension pulley because of one DW running within machine, in addition the running of DW is by several drive wheels, set of drive wheels run by one shaft in clockwise motion, another set run by another shaft in counter clockwise motion. Each drive wheel supported by sprag clutch which allow pulling DW for the cutting speed and allow DW to be tensioned in all drive wheels by one tensioned pulley which is tightened by linear stroke by a jack with a set tension value. Further, a portable machine to be held within block and cutting execution.
Machine for cutting nozzles of reactor vessels
Disclosed herein is a machine for cutting nozzles of reactor vessels. The machine for cutting nozzles of reactor vessels comprises a cutting unit positioned at an upper surface edge of a reactor vessel having a nozzle and having a saw blade part having different contact areas to cut the nozzle, a drive unit providing the saw blade part with rotary power, and a foreign substance suction unit provided at one end of the cutting unit in contiguity with the saw blade part to suck foreign substances generated when the nozzle is cut by the saw blade part, wherein the foreign substance suction unit sucks the foreign substances by approaching an outer peripheral surface of the nozzle when the saw blade part moves in a cutting direction of the nozzle.
WIRE SAW
A wire saw includes a saw wire forming a sawing section for engagement with a workpiece to be cut. A guide is arranged to position the sawing section of the saw wire relative to the workpiece. The guide is configured to permit a plurality of independent directions of movement such that, in addition to an advance of the sawing section in the direction of the workpiece to be cut, the sawing section can be lengthened and/or shortened. A wire-storage-and-tensioning device is arranged for loading, unloading, and tensioning the saw wire when a position and/or a length of the sawing section is changed by the guide. The guide has, for each of the plurality of independent directions of movement, a separate wire storage associated with the given individual direction of movement.
Converting a CNC milling machine to a CNC wire saw
An attachment for converting a CNC milling machine to a CNC wire saw machine. The attachment may include a gantry that may be coupled with a respective gantry of the CNC milling machine, a carriage that may be attached to and moveable with a respective carriage of the CNC milling machine. A drive pulley of the system may be coupled with and driven by a spindle of the CNC milling machine. The drive pully may drive a wire saw through an assembly of idler pulleys. A wire tension mechanism may keep the wire fully stretched. The wire tension mechanism may include a curved guide rail mounted on the gantry and a vertical guide rail mounted on the carriage. A slider that slides vertically on the vertical guide rail and follows the curved guide rail may house a tension wheel that may keep the wire at a fully stretched state.
