Tool drive unit, turning device and turning method
A tool drive unit for a turning device for machining workpieces has a tool holder driven in a displaceable manner along an infeed direction by a first linear motor and driven in a pendular/displaceable manner in a direction transverse to the infeed direction by a second linear motor. Both linear motors have a moving coil/piezo element. The turning device has a main infeed drive, which produces a primary infeed movement of a turning tool in an infeed direction, and has a main transverse drive which produces a primary transverse movement in a transverse direction transversely to the infeed direction. The turning device has a secondary transverse drive whose movements are oriented in the same direction as the main transverse drive, wherein the turning tool and the axis of rotation can be moved towards one another and away from one another by the superimposition of primary and secondary transverse movements.
Machine tool
A machine tool (1) includes a spindle (32) supported on a support surface (37a) of a support body (37) with such an orientation that the longitudinal axis of the spindle extends along the support surface (37a). The spindle (32) is movable in a vertical direction that is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the spindle (32). The support body (37) is provided with a ventilation hole (80) extending through the support body (37) between the support surface (37a) and a surface (37b) facing in the direction opposite to the support surface (37a), to open toward the spindle (32).
SLIDING TABLE
A sliding table includes a sliding seat having a seat body made from a first material and disposed between two main rigid rails parallel with each other. The seat body has two opposite rail recesses opening toward the main rigid rails, and two inner cyclic track holes disposed between the rail recesses. Two seat body rigid rails made from a second material harder than the first material are fixed in the rail recesses to confront the main rigid rails. Two roller belt modules are arranged in two cyclic track members overmolded to the seat body. When the seat body moves along the main rigid rails, each roller belt module circulates along one of the cyclic track members.
Wood processing system
Provided is a wood processing system including a wood conveying device having a longitudinal direction along one direction in the horizontal direction and being capable of conveying wood along the longitudinal direction; a multi-axis processing machine arranged on one side in the longitudinal direction of the wood conveying device, the multi-axis processing machine including a spindle capable of being attached with a first tool, and a spindle moving device having two or more linear axes perpendicular to one another and two or more rotational axes for moving the spindle; and at least one multi-articulated robot arranged along the wood conveying device on the other side in the longitudinal direction of the wood conveying device, the at least one multi-articulated robot including a wrist capable of being attached with a tool unit including a second tool, and an arm having six or more rotational axes for moving the wrist.
Machining station, workpiece holding system, and method of machining a workpiece
The machining station can include a table; at least three robots each having a multi-axis mover secured to the table, and a gripper opposite the table, the robots being interspaced from one another on the table; and a controller. The controller controls the robots to hold a workpiece in a coordinated manner. The computer numerical command (CNC) machine-tool system machines the workpiece while the workpiece is held by the robots. The workpiece can be moved into and out from the machining station with a trolley which slidingly engages a trolley path formed within the table.

MANUFACTURING SYSTEM
A manufacturing system includes a base and multiple work machine modules that are attachable and detachable to and from the base arranged in the arrangement direction on the base or on the side of the base, in which the plurality of work machine modules include one or more processing work modules that perform machine processing work on a workpiece using a tool, and one or more supplementary work modules that perform supplementary work that is work supplementarily performed to the machine processing work. Since it is possible to easily increase and decrease the number of processing work modules and supplementary work modules or sort the modules, it is possible to easily recombine the modules with respect to modification of the manufacturing process.
MANUFACTURING SYSTEM
A manufacturing system including a base and multiple work machine modules that are arranged in an arrangement direction on base to be attachable to and detachable from base, in which one wheel of a pair provided on work machine module is engaged with one rail of a pair provided on base in a state in which positional deviation in the arrangement direction is prohibited, and the other wheel of the pair is engaged with the other rail of the pair in a state in which positional deviation is permitted in the arrangement direction, thereby the position of work machine modules on the base in the arrangement direction is specified, and work machine modules are fixed at a setting position on the base to be restricted so as to be drawn toward the base by a module fixing mechanism that is provided on the base.
MACHINING SYSTEM
A machining system including a base; multiple work modules arranged in an arrangement direction on the base, at least one of the multiple work modules being a processing module, which processes a work with a tool, provided with a main shaft head including a main shaft on which a tool is attached and a main shaft rotating device that rotates the main shaft; a head raising and lowering device that moves the main shaft head in a vertical direction; a head moving device that moves the main shaft head in a horizontal plane by moving it in two perpendicular directions; and a work table that holds a work; the processing module being configured so as to be pulled from the base along a path extending in an intersecting direction, which is a direction perpendicular to the arrangement direction.
MACHINING CENTER AND WORKPIECE PROCESSING METHOD
A machining center is provided with: a base; a table that supports a workpiece; a main-shaft head that causes a tool to rotate around an axis of rotation of a main-shaft; a Z-axis drive device that causes the table to move with respect to the base along a Z axis parallel to the axis of rotation of the main-shaft; a W-axis drive device that causes the main-shaft head to move with respect to the base along a W axis parallel to the axis of rotation of the main-shaft; and a control device that controls the Z-axis drive device and the W-axis drive device so as to cause the tool to process the workpiece by causing the table and the main-shaft head to move along the Z axis and the W axis, respectively.
