The present invention relates to a scraper (14) for scraping a surface of a machine tool having a wear-indicating device (18, 20, 24, 30) for the scraper lip (16) of the scraper. At least one signal line (18) is embedded in the scraper lip (16) in such a manner that, upon reaching the wear limit (G), at least one section of the signal line (18) is exposed.
ABNORMALITY DIAGNOSTIC DEVICE FOR FEED AXIS MECHANISM
An abnormality diagnostic device for a feed axis mechanism diagnoses an abnormality occurrence and an abnormal portion of the feed axis mechanism. The feed axis mechanism transmits a rotation of a motor to a ball screw coupled by a coupling to rotate the ball screw. The abnormality diagnostic device includes a resonance frequency measuring unit and a diagnosis unit. The resonance frequency measuring unit measures a resonance frequency at a plurality of stroke positions within a stroke range of the feed axis mechanism. The diagnosis unit identifies the abnormal portion based on a relationship between the stroke positions and change amounts relative to a standard value of the measured respective resonance frequencies.
Automatic greasing device for chuck in crankshaft miller
To provide an automatic chuck greasing device in a crankshaft miller capable of ensuring chuck greasing without missing its timing and preventing failure to remove excess grease by wiping. In a crankshaft miller (1) which cuts, using a rotary cutter (7), a workpiece (2) held by a chuck (3), the automatic greasing device includes: a grease supply device (25) for supplying grease to sliding parts inside a chuck (3) including one between a chuck body (3a) and a chuck jaw (3b) in response to a greasing command signal outputted by a greasing command signal output unit (35) which has received a rotary cutter replacement command signal as a trigger signal from a rotary cutter replacement command signal output unit (33); and a notification means (30a, 30b) for notifying that a cutter (7) needs replacement in response to a notification command signal outputted by a notification command signal output unit (36) which has received the rotary cutter replacement command signal as the trigger signal from a rotary cutter replacement command signal output unit (33).
Tooling inspection system for multi-tip tablet punch
A tooling inspection and analysis system measures tooling quality of a multi-tip tablet punch having a barrel with a plurality of tips each having a tip cup for forming a tablet. The system comprises a base. A carriage assembly has a cavity for supporting a multi-tip tablet punch, which when in use is aligned with an X-axis. A Y-axis linear slide mounts the carriage assembly to the base for movement relative to the base along a Y-axis. A sensor is adapted to measure distance. A Z-axis linear slide mounts the sensor to the base for movement relative to the base along a Z-axis. A programmable controller is operatively connected to the Y-axis linear slide, the Z-axis linear slide and the sensor. The controller is programmed to move the carriage assembly and the sensor to automatically align the sensor to measure working length of each tip of a multi-tip tablet punch mounted in the cavity.
Method and device for determining and/or monitoring the state of a protective cover
A method for determining and/or monitoring the state of a protective cover, includes the steps of a) obtaining a first state value of at least one characteristic physical, mechanical and/or chemical property of the protective cover at a first point in time; and b) obtaining a second state value of the at least one characteristic property of the protective cover at a second point in time, which is to subsequent to the first point in time; and c) comparing the obtained state values; and d) determining the state of the protective cover based on the comparison performed in step c).
METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING HEALTH OF CNC MACHINE TOOL
The present invention belongs to the field of automation equipment predictive maintenance, and relates to a method for diagnosing health of a CNC machine tool. Parameters such as vibration and temperature are detected by Zigbee nodes adopted in the present invention and uploaded to a Zigbee gateway. The detected data is transmitted by the Zigbee gateway to a cloud server for digital signal processing, data mining and analysis processing. After a training test of the above data is carried out by the cloud server, a health degree model is obtained. The health degree model is transmitted by the cloud server to the Zigbee gateway. A clock circuit can be used for synchronizing system time and recording time as data is recorded. For the on-line predictive maintenance of a CNC machine tool, the most rapid and accurate predictive maintenance information is provided.
EVEN OUT WEARING OF MACHINE COMPONENTS DURING MACHINING
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including medium-encoded computer program products, for computer aided design and manufacture of physical structures using subtractive manufacturing systems and techniques include, in one aspect, a method including obtaining information regarding a geometry of a part to be machined by a computer-controlled manufacturing system from a workpiece; based on the information regarding the geometry, identifying machine components to be used by the computer-controlled manufacturing system during machining the part; determining a position for the machining of the part with respect to at least one of the machine components, to even out wear on the machine components, based on data indicating previous positions, movements and wear of components associated with the computer-controlled manufacturing system; and providing instructions usable by the computer-controlled manufacturing system, wherein the instructions are configured to cause the computer-controlled manufacturing system to use the position for the machining.
Augmented manufacturing system
An operator defines a process, such as a process for the manufacturing of a product, using templates that may be edited graphically. Each process includes a set of steps that a user must perform in order to accomplish the process. Each step in the process may be associated with one or more pieces of machinery on the floor to achieve the execution of the process, either in advance or at execution time. Each step may also provide various forms of instruction, monitoring, and feedback to aid the user of the associated machinery in performing the process. Data may be collected regarding the user's performance, analyzed, and used to inform the operator who may in turn edit the process with the goal of improving its execution.
