Machine for replacing disc tools
A method and a machine for automatically changing a disc tool to a tool holder of an automated machine working with the disc tools is disclosed. The method includes in the disc tool replacement machine: determining that the tool holder is in a replacement area in the disc tool replacement machine; unfastening a fixing member of the tool holder by applying an unfastening force to the fixing member, wherein the fixing member fixes a disc tool to a backing plate of the tool holder through a through hole at a centre of the disc tool; removing the disc tool from the tool holder after said unfastening; inserting a new disc tool to the tool holder; and fastening the fixing member of the tool holder by applying a fastening force to the fixing member, thus fixing the disc tool to the backing plate of the tool holder through the through hole.
TOOL STORAGE AND MACHINE TOOL
A tool storage includes a tool receiver, a tool magazine, and a tool carriage. The tool receiver is provided on a one side of a machine tool with respect to a workpiece holder of the machine tool along a machine tool direction and is configured to receive a tool from an outside of the machine tool. The tool magazine is provided on another side opposite to the one side with respect to the workpiece holder along the machine tool direction. The tool carriage is configured to carry the tool between the tool receiver and the tool magazine.

The invention relates to a processing plant (1) comprising: at least one first working spindle (2); a tool magazine (6) for storing different processing tools (4), wherein at least one storage plane (10) having several tool receiving spaces (11) arranged next to one another is provided in the tool magazine (6); a tool change device (5) comprising at least one first gripper device (13) for exchanging the processing tool (4) held in the working spindle (2), wherein the gripper device (13) comprises at least one first gripper unit (15) and one second gripper unit (16) which are positioned at a gripper-unit distance (17) from one another. The gripper units (15, 16) can be displaced between the working spindle (2) and the tool magazine (6).

The machine has a frame, a movable platform supported by and movable relative to the frame, on which are mounted one or more platform tool holders for holding one or more tools such as an extruder, a base station that may include one or more bays, each of the bays having a number of base station tool holders, for storing tools that are not in use, and a supporting base, which may be movable relative to the frame, for holding one or more work items to be processed by the tool or tools selected and held by the movable platform.

The tool magazine module includes: a rotary shaft rotating by being connected to a drive part providing a rotational force; a plurality of magazine bases having a disk shape and being provided with a central part connected to a rotary shaft to be rotated, the plurality of magazine bases loaded with a tool along a rim thereof, and mounted by being stacked on the rotary shaft; and a transfer system enabling the tools to be interchanged between any magazine base and a tool changer by moving in an up-and-down direction and a forward-and-backward direction on one side of the magazine base.

The gripper units (15, 16) can be displaced between the working spindle (2) and the tool magazine (6).

The invention relates to a machine tool, in particular a milling machine for dental purposes, with a workpiece magazine for receiving workpieces, optionally with the aid of a housing. The workpiece magazine (22) is also moveably mounted with respect to the machine tool (10) and has a fitting position (30) for fitting a new workpiece (18) in the magazine (22). The machine tool also has a housing (40), in particular a partial housing, for each workpiece (18), the housing at least partially receiving the workpiece (18), and/or has a lifting platform (32), which is arranged adjacent to the fitting position (30) and on which the housing (40) together with the workpiece (18) can be received and displaced. The invention also relates to a system comprising a machine tool and a workpiece.
HIGH-PRECISION MANUFACTURING MACHINE
A high-precision manufacturing machine used in precision manufacturing processes, such as a 3-D printer, is described. The machine has a frame, a movable platform supported by and movable relative to the frame, on which are mounted one or more platform tool holders for holding one or more tools such as an extruder, a base station that may include one or more bays, each of the bays having a number of base station tool holders, for storing tools that are not in use, and a supporting base, which may be movable relative to the frame, for holding one or more work items to be processed by the tool or tools selected and held by the movable platform.
