COOLING MEDIUM SPRAY DEVICE
A body member (110) of a coolant medium spray device (100) is attachable to a main shaft (10) of a machine tool. A rotating part of a pump (300) is connected to the body member. The body member and the rotating part are rotatably supported within an interior space of a support part, which may be constituted by a cover (210), a case (220) and a ring member (225). When the body member is attached to the main shaft, the support part is also fixed to the machine tool so that the support part is non-rotatable relative to the machine tool. In this state, cooling medium that is being supplied via the main shaft is pressurized by the pump and then sprayed out of a spray port (242) of a nozzle (240) that is mounted in a nozzle mounting hole (231) of a cap (230) affixed to the support part.
Ninety degree auto changer spindle mounting assembly
A novel mounting assembly used with an air spindle is described. The mounting assembly includes an insertable top portion for inserting into a mounting collar and to be rotatable therein, the insertable top portion formed with an upper disk shape with a first diameter and a lower disk shape with a second diameter and adjacent to the upper disk shape, an outer circumference of the upper disk shape having a groove formed therein, and the upper disk shape and the lower disk shape having a passage axially formed therethrough perpendicular to the groove. The mounting assembly further includes a sleeve disposed below the insertable top portion, the sleeve defining an opening with a sidewall which is perpendicular to the insertable top portion, the opening sized to hold a spindle, a port inside a wall of the sleeve defining the opening providing fluid communications with the passage of the insertable top portion.
DEVICE FOR THE AUTOMATIC CONNECTION OF A HIGH SPEED SPINDLE TO A NUMERICALLY CONTROLLED MACHINE
A device (10) for the automatic connection of a high speed spindle (40) to a numerically controlled machine is described, comprising a first connecting element (11) and a second connecting element (31), the first connecting element connection (11) comprising a first electrical contact element (14) and a first duct (12) for the passage of pressurized air; the second connecting element (31) comprising a second electrical contact element (34) configured to establish an electrical contact with said first electrical contact element (14) and electrically power the spindle at high speed (40), and a second conduit (32) for the passage of the pressurized air coming from the first duct (12); a method is also described for automatically sealing the first and second connecting elements (11, 31) of the device (10).
Fastening tool for dynamically fastening parts for machining
The present invention relates to a fastening tool for dynamically fastening parts for machining, said tool being formed by an annular frame (1) which is fastened to a rotary supporting means (2) arranged around the location of the machining tool (4) on a tool-holder head (3). The annular frame (1) incorporates a tamper formed by a rotating ball (5) and, in a diametrically opposite position, a tilting clamp (6) which incorporates a counter-tamper formed by another rotating ball (8). According to the invention, a cantilevered portion (9.1) of a part can be seized between the balls (5) and (8) of the tamper and counter-tamper in order to prevent bending and vibrations in relation to same during machining.
End milling apparatus, CAM apparatus, and NC program
An end milling apparatus has an end mill and a support member. The end mill has a cutting portion and a non-cutting portion. The support member supports the non-cutting portion in at least one direction toward the periphery of the end mill. The width of the support member as measured in the direction orthogonal to the direction of the center axis of the end mill and to the direction in which the support member is located as viewed from the end mill is smaller than the outer diameter of the end mill.
TOOL COUPLING DEVICE WITH TRANSMISSION UNIT AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A THREAD OR A THREADED HOLE
A tool coupling device for coupling a tool can comprise a drive shaft for coupling to the drive, an output shaft for coupling to the tool, the output shaft being rotatable about a central axis (A), a transmission unit connected between the drive shaft and the output shaft and translating a rotational movement of the drive shaft at an input speed (n.sub.S) into a rotational movement of the output shaft at an output speed (n.sub.W) greater than the input speed (n.sub.S) and a non-rotating housing, wherein the transmission unit, and at least a part of the input shaft and a part of the output shaft that are both coupled to the transmission unit, are arranged within the housing, wherein the drive shaft is rotatably mounted on the housing; and wherein the output shaft is rotatably supported solely on the input shaft and is not rotatably supported on the housing.
TOOL HOLDER WITH STRAIGHT SPRAY OF COOLING WATER FOR MACHINE TOOL
A Tool Holder with Straight Spray of Cooling Water for Machine Tool includes: a body that provides a mounting space in which the tool is mounted, and is linked to the rotational motion of the machine tool; a housing unit that covers the outer surface of the body; a cap nozzle unit that is disposed to surround the outer circumferential surface of the tool while being connected to the lower side of the housing unit; an adapter unit that is mounted on the machine tool, providing a passage for cooling water supplied from the cooling water supply unit, and determining a mounting position of the body to the machine tool; and a side rod unit that connects the adapter unit and the housing unit while being connected to the side of the housing unit, and moves the cooling water supplied from the adapter unit to the cap nozzle unit.
