Feeding Device with Spring-Loaded Feeding Rollers
A feeding device includes a plurality of driving modules, a plurality of feeding modules and a plurality of couplers. Each driving module has a driving shaft pivotally mounted on a housing and driven by a power module to be rotated about an axis. Each feeding module includes a pivoting shaft substantially coaxial with the driving shaft, a suspending unit journalled on the pivoting shaft to be pivotable and having a bearing portion which is disposed to be biased downwardly by a spring member, a driven shaft mounted rotatably on the bearing portion, and a feeding roller driven by the driven shaft. Each coupler includes a transmitting shaft having two ends connected to the driving shaft and driven shaft by universal joints, respectively.
Tapered template guided system for a router
Tapered, stepped, or non-tapered router guide templates, and optionally combined template holder system, each template comprising: a base portion, a top portion, at least one of an exterior surface interconnecting the base portion and the top portion along an outer periphery of the template and an interior surface interconnecting the base portion and the top portion along an inner periphery of the template, wherein optionally one of the exterior surface and the interior surface may be continuously tapered between the base portion and the top portion, or stepped, and wherein the base portion is adapted for removable and adjustable interconnection with the template holder system.
Template guidance system for a router
Tapered, stepped, or non-tapered router guide templates, optionally combined template holder system, and optional tapered or non-tapered guide bearing on a readily-locatable and lockable shaft, each template comprising: a base portion, a top portion, at least one of an exterior surface interconnecting the base portion and the top portion along an outer periphery of the template and an interior surface interconnecting the base portion and the top portion along an inner periphery of the template, wherein optionally one of the exterior surface and the interior surface may be continuously tapered between the base portion and the top portion, or stepped, and wherein the base portion is adapted for removable and adjustable interconnection with the template holder system.
Method and apparatus for preparing mortise cuts with a pantograph router
Guide bearing stop for use in a template-guided system for routers, and more particularly to a device, system, and method, for facilitating efficient, easily repeatable, highly accurate router mortise cuts on workpieces using a pantograph-type router system. The guide bearing stop may be used with a readily adjustable template holder for holding a guide bearing stop to direct the mortise cut in a very exact manner, which is also readily adjustable and easily positioned and centered on the template holder. The guide bearing stop when used in conjunction with the router system allows for the rapid centering and rapid reproduction of varying sizes of exactly-sized and exactly-shaped mortise cuts across a variety of different workpieces.
MEASURING APPARATUS AND SUPPORT MECHANISM OF COLUMNAR WORK PIECE
Measuring apparatus includes an upper support supporting a first end of a columnar work piece in an axis direction, a lower support supporting a second end of the work piece in the axis direction, a probe measuring the work piece supported by the upper support and lower support, a rotary table coupled to the lower support and capable of rotating centered in the axis direction, and a post provided to the rotary table and mounting a first position determiner and a second position determiner so as to be switchable, the first and second position determiner determining a position of the work piece with respect to the rotary table. When a first columnar work piece as the work piece is supported by the upper support and lower support, the first position determiner is mounted to the post to determine a position by contacting the first work piece.
DEVICE FOR MACHINING A PLANAR WORKPIECE
The invention relates to a device for machining a planar workpiece, having a machine stand which has a support surface (application surface) for a planar workpiece, and further having a machining head which can be moved relative to the support surface, which machining head has a tool for machining the workpiece and also has a holding unit (“hold-down unit”) with a pressure plate whereby the workpiece is pressed against the supporting surface; characterized in that the pressure plate has a structure which is comprised of a plurality of pieces, preferably two pieces, wherein at least one of the pressure plate parts is movable back and forth relative to at least one other pressure plate part, namely it is movable between the application position, in which the pressure plate part presses the workpiece against the application surface when the workpiece is applied to said application surface, and a released position, in which the pressure plate piece is at a minimum distance away from the workpiece when the workpiece is applied to said application surface.
Shim manufacturing methods and devices
A method of manufacturing a shim and related systems and equipment. A mechanical tool inserted into a shim space defined between two or more components with the mechanical tool in a first configuration. The mechanical tool is free of measurement electronics. The mechanical tool, while in the shim space, is modified such that the mechanical tool assumes a second configuration to establish a plurality of model points corresponding to a boundary surface of the shim space. The mechanical tool is removed from the shim space while maintaining the mechanical tool in the second configuration. Using a measurement station distinct from the tool, the positions of the model points are electronically measured while the mechanical tool is both disposed outside of the shim space and in the second configuration. Machining instructions are generated based on the measured positions. A shim is fabricated based on the generated machining instructions.
Template support for workpiece
A manufacturing includes a template support and a plurality of template members. The template support comprises a structural member, a first rail, and a second rail. The first rail is coupled to the structural member, and is positioned outward of the first side of the structural member and extends parallel with the structural member. The second rail is movably coupled to the structural member and is normally biased outward to an outward position in which second rail is parallel with the structural member. Each template member is coupled to the template support when the first rail is positioned in a first recess thereof and the second rail is in the outward position in a second recess thereof, and is removable from the template support when the second rail is in an inward position and out of the second recess.
Holding a bucket stationary
Apparatus and associated methodology contemplating holding a bucket stationary while a user mixes a substance in the bucket. A rigid base is configured to support the bucket upright upon a predetermined holding zone, and supports a selectively rotatable pivot member. A paddle has a proximal end attached to the pivot member and extends therefrom downwardly toward the base on one side of the pivot member. A foot-actuated lever has a proximal end attached to the pivot member and extends downwardly toward the base on the opposing side of the pivot member.
