A tuneable clamping device (1) is envisaged which comprises a stationary part (2) which is fixed to a table of a machine tool (10) or being part of a table of a machine tool (10), and a moving table (3) on which the actual flexible workpiece (11) is clamped. The tuneable clamping device (1) achieves tuning between the standing part (2) and the machine tool table (10) in order to damp a dominant mode of the workpiece (11) by playing the role of a device that provides serial dynamic coupling or coupling through the process to dissipate indirectly kinetic energy related to the workpiece (11).
WORKPIECE SUPPORT MEMBER FOR USE WITH WORKPIECE SUPPORT TABLE, AND THERMAL PROCESSING MACHINE
A thermal processing machine, for example, a laser processing machine includes a workpiece support table in which a workpiece to be processed is mounted. In the workpiece support table, a plurality of workpiece support members are arranged. Each workpiece support member is formed of carbon fibers in a plurality of different directions and has a long plate shape. The workpiece support member has an upper end part formed with triangular or trapezoidal protrusions. In place of the workpiece support member formed with the triangular or trapezoidal protrusions, a workpiece support member having an upper side formed in a continuous wave shape including a curve may be provided.
WORKPIECE SUPPORT MEMBER FOR USE WITH WORKPIECE SUPPORT TABLE, AND THERMAL PROCESSING MACHINE
A thermal processing machine, for example, a laser processing machine includes a workpiece support table in which a workpiece to be processed is mounted. In the workpiece support table, a plurality of workpiece support members are arranged. Each workpiece support member is formed of carbon fibers in a plurality of different directions and has a long plate shape. The workpiece support member has an upper end part formed with triangular or trapezoidal protrusions. In place of the workpiece support member formed with the triangular or trapezoidal protrusions, a workpiece support member having an upper side formed in a continuous wave shape including a curve may be provided.
Quick change fastener
A fastener comprises a housing, a socket, a pintle and a locking feature. The housing includes a shaft, a central bore that extends axially at least partially through the housing and a ball lock aperture extending from the bore. The socket extends into the housing adjacent to the first end face, and is configured such that rotation of the first socket rotates the fastener. The pintle is positioned within the bore and includes an actuation end and a rod that extends axially from the actuation end. The rod includes a ball transitioning surface and a ball locking surface. The pintle is moveable axially within the bore between a designated lock position where the ball locking surface of the pintle is aligned in register with each ball lock aperture, and a designated unlocked position where the ball lock surface of the pintle is moved axially away from each ball lock aperture.
Biasing positioning element
The positioning pin has a pin body and a biasing element. The pin body defines a slit through which at least a portion of the biasing element is able to extend through. The pin body can be configured to be at least partially inserted into a working surface hole and help position an object. The biasing element has an engagement element that is able to bias the working object in a direction of the slit.
WORKPIECE SUPPORT MEMBER FOR THERMAL PROCESSING MACHINE
A workpiece support member for a thermal processing machine is installed on a workpiece support table to support a workpiece to be thermally processed, and includes a base member and a supporting member. The base member is formed of a plate-like member in a horizontally long shape, and provided with a plurality of protruding supporting member attachment parts at predetermined distance intervals on an upper part thereof. The supporting member is formed of a plate-like member in a horizontally long shape, and is installed in an attachable and removable state with a lower side thereof fitted alternately to a front surface and a rear surface of each of the adjacent supporting member attachment parts of the base member.

MODULAR FIXTURE PLATE SYSTEM FOR POSITIONING A WORKPIECE DURING A MANUFACTURING AND/OR INSPECTION PROCESS
A modular fixture plate system comprising:
at least one interlocking fixture plate comprising at least one of a male end and a female end, wherein the male end comprises at least one male projection and the female end comprises at least one female recess; and
a docking plate comprising at least one of at least one male projection and at least one female recess;
wherein at least one male projection or female recess of the at least one interlocking fixture plate is interlocked with a mating one of the at least one male projection or the at least one female recess of the docking plate.
MODULAR FIXTURE PLATE SYSTEM FOR POSITIONING A WORKPIECE DURING A MANUFACTURING AND/OR INSPECTION PROCESS
A modular fixture plate system comprising:
at least one interlocking fixture plate comprising at least one of a male end and a female end, wherein the male end comprises at least one male projection and the female end comprises at least one female recess; and
a docking plate comprising at least one of at least one male projection and at least one female recess;
wherein at least one male projection or female recess of the at least one interlocking fixture plate is interlocked with a mating one of the at least one male projection or the at least one female recess of the docking plate.
