A tool changer device for a robotic arm comprising a robot adapter (1) particularly adapted to be connected to a robotic arm (5) and to a tool (6). The robot adapter (1) comprises a pneumatic cylinder (117) inside which a piston (116) is slidably arranged for activating a coupling and uncoupling mechanism (120) of the robotic arm (5) to the tool (6). On one of the walls of the robot adapter (1) at least four through conduits (24, 25, 26, 27) are arranged, one end of which opens into the pneumatic cylinder (117) and another end of which opens outside of the pneumatic cylinder (117). The device further comprises a first differential pressure sensor (18) connected to at least two of the through conduits (24, 25), and a second differential pressure sensor (19) connected to another two of the through conduits (26, 27).

A tool holder holding and loosening device of chain-type tool magazine of a machine tool is disclosed. A locking mechanism is disposed on a rear end of each of sockets in a tool magazine. The locking mechanism is adapted to abut against an end of a tool holder mounted in the socket, thereby to prevent the tool holder from accidentally loosing. A tool loosening device is disposed on a predetermined position of the chain-type tool magazine. The tool loosening device is adapted to unlock the locking mechanism of the tool magazine passing through the predetermined position, so that the tool holder could be easily taken out of the socket.

Provided are an arm, a tool magazine, and a machine tool capable of suppressing interference between tool storage arms and suppressing an increase in size in the direction parallel to an axis of rotation. The arm is provided in the tool magazine of the machine tool and configured to grip a tool. The arm includes a support plate configured to be fixed to the tool magazine and two support rods configured to rotate on both sides of the support plate. The positions of the tool grip side end portions of the two support rods are different in the rotation center axis direction of the tool magazine.
Gripping device and system
A gripping device is provided in a turret-type tool magazine of a machine tool and grips a tool or a tool holder that holds the tool. The gripping device includes: a pair of arms configured to grip the tool or the tool holder by pinching the tool or the tool holder between the arms, a main body part configured to support the pair of arms so that each of the paired arms swings in the pinching directions to pinch the tool or the tool holder between the arms; and an angle detector configured to detect a physical quantity indicating a swing angle of the arm.

A tool change unit includes a base and two tool arms rotatably mounted on the base and respectively located on two sides of the base. Each arm body includes a position-returning element, a gripping element, and an actuation element. The position-returning element enables the tool arm to rotate for upward and downward moving between a first position and a second position. The gripping element functions to grip a main-axle tool or a magazine tool. The tool change unit is combinable with a power unit to form a tool change device. The power unit drives the tool change unit to do rotation or rotation and upward and downward movement.

The invention relates to a machining tool for machining a workpiece, including a main spindle with a driven shank, a tool holder which can be clamped in the shank, a cutting tool which is arranged on the tool holder, a distance sensor for determining a distance of the shank of the main spindle in relation to a reference point, and a control unit which is configured to perform compensation of the tool path during machining of the workpiece based on an elongation and displacement of the shank and an elongation of the tool holder holding the cutting tool, wherein the elongation and displacement of the shank is determined based on the distance determined using the distance sensor, and wherein the elongation of the tool holder holding the cutting tool is determined based on a rotational speed of the shank.

An apparatus and a system comprise a collet comprising a top portion and a bottom portion. The top portion comprises a threading means. The bottom portion at least comprises means for holding the collet from rotating and means for retaining an end mill. A master comprises a top portion and a bottom portion. The top portion is configured for engagement with a spindle of a milling machine. The bottom portion comprises a threading means for engagement with the threading means of the collet, wherein the master is retained by the spindle and the collet engages and disengages the master by rotation of the spindle. The milling machine operates under computer control during engagement and disengagement of the collet from the master.
