The transfer apparatus are used both for longitudinal and also cross conveyance. Each processing apparatus has its own conveyor apparatus which is controlled by the processing apparatus itself. The transfer apparatus are controlled by a central transfer control.
TRANSPORTATION CARRIER FOR AUTOMATED LENS MANUFACTURING PROCESS AND RELATED MANUFACTURING FACILITY
A transportation carrier is provided for automated lens manufacturing in a lens manufacturing facility, including: at least one block piece or one block piece receiving section; and an electronic paper display configured to display at least an up-to-date status information of the manufacturing process of the optical elements carried by the transportation carrier that is intelligible for a human operator without use of a reading device, the electronic paper display including a wireless communication module and a memory configured to exchange and to memorize job information and to process information for lenses to be manufactured, in which the electronic paper display is further configured to function as a passive RFID tag with the wireless communication module.
Optical Machine for Treatment and/or Processing Optical Workpieces, such as Ophthalmic Lenses, and Deblocking Apparatus and Deblocking Method for Same
An optical machine (AV) for treatment and/or processing optical workpieces (L) has a machine frame (MG) on which a workpiece holding arrangement (WH) is movably supported and at least two treatment and/or processing devices (DB1, DB2, DB3) for treatment and/or processing a workpiece. The workpiece holding arrangement has a plurality of partition walls (TW) which separate and delimit at least three work spaces (AR1, AR2, AR3, AR4) from one another. The work spaces can be moved, together with the workpiece holding arrangement.
To each work space, a workpiece holder (CH) is assigned for the purpose of parallel use of the work spaces. Each work space can be moved, together with the workpiece holding arrangement, with respect to the machine frame in a movement cycle from a loading station (PS) on the machine frame, via stationary treatment and/or processing stations (DS, CS) which are spatially distanced from the loading station.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING OPTICAL WORKPIECES
The present invention relates to an apparatus for processing optical workpieces, having a working space, wherein workpiece spindles for receiving and holding the optical workpieces and tool spindles with processing tools receivable thereon for processing the optical workpieces are arranged in the working space, wherein the tool spindles are arranged rotatably about their center axis, wherein the tool spindles are arranged linearly movably along their center axes. It is provided that at least two pairs of tool spindles are provided, that at least one device for rotational drive is provided for the at least two pairs of tool spindles, that at least one device for linear drive is provided for the at least two pairs of tool spindles along their center axes. The present invention further relates to a method for processing optical workpieces.
METHOD FOR MACHINING AN OPTICAL SURFACE OF AN OPTICAL LENS
Method for machining an optical surface of an optical lens, including: a lens blank providing step, during which a lens blank blocked on a lens blocker is provided; a clamping step, during which the lens blocker is clamped in a lens machining device; a tilting step, during which the lens blank and lens blocker are tilted relative to the rotation axis of the lens machining device; a surface position determining step, during which the position of the surface to be machined is determined based on the tilt angle of the lens blank and lens blocker relative to the rotation axis of the lens machining device; and a machining tool configuration step, during which the operational parameters of the lens machining tool are configured to manufacture the surface to be manufactured according to the determined surface position so the desired optical properties of the optical lens are respected.
PROCESSING SYSTEM FOR PROCESSING SPECTACLE LENSES
A processing system for processing spectacle lenses and a method for processing spectacle lenses are proposed. The processing system has several processing stations, in particular a milling station, a turning station, a polishing station, a cleaning station and/or a signing station. Furthermore, the processing system has a transport system for transporting the spectacle lenses and/or transport containers for the spectacle lenses. Preferably, the processing system also has a common base frame and/or a common casing for the processing stations. In the processing system and/or with the method, several spectacle lenses can be processed simultaneously in different processing stations.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SPECTACLE LENSES ACCORDING TO A PRESCRIPTION
A method for manufacturing a spectacle lens according to a prescription includes: blocking or fixing a semi-finished spectacle lens blank having a first face possessing a final curvature and a second face opposite the first face on a block piece or a vacuum or holding chuck, respectively, wherein the first face of the semi-finished spectacle lens blank faces the block piece or the vacuum or holding chuck, respectively; surfacing the blocked or fixed semi-finished spectacle lens blank on the second face to obtain a final curvature of the second face; and deblocking the surfaced spectacle lens blank from the block piece or removing the surfaced spectacle lens blank from the vacuum or holding chuck prior to any subsequent coating step. The first face is coated with a top coating having a surface energy of less than 20 mJ/m.sup.2.
