Device for processing optical workpieces, particularly spectacle lenses
A device for processing spectacle lenses has a work chamber, which is accessible by way of an opening and in which a workpiece mount and at least one tool mount are opposite one another and movable relative to one another so that a processing region of a tool held at the tool mount can be brought into processing engagement with a workpiece held at the workpiece mount and in processing engagement can be guided over the workpiece. For recognition of wear at the tool, a sensor equipment with at least one contactlessly operating sensor arrangement is provided and is movable outside the work chamber between a protected rest position and a detecting position. In the detecting position the sensor equipment is constructed to detect at the processing region of the tool held at the tool mount an unacceptable deviation beyond a predetermined amount from a desired geometry.
System and method for processing of optical lenses
A system and a method for processing of optical lenses in which the processing takes place by different processing apparatus between which there is a respective transfer apparatus. The transfer apparatus are used both for longitudinal and also cross conveyance. Each processing apparatus has its own conveyor apparatus which is controlled by the processing apparatus itself. The transfer apparatus are controlled by a central transfer control.
DEVICE FOR FINE PROCESSING OF OPTICALLY EFFECTIVE SURFACES ON, IN PARTICULAR, EYEGLASS LENSES
A device for fine processing of optically effective surfaces on workpieces has a workpiece spindle which protrudes into a working space and by which a workpiece to be polished can be rotationally driven about a workpiece axis of rotation. Two tool spindles are associated with the workpiece spindle and protrude into the working space oppositely to the workpiece spindle. On each tool spindle, a polishing tool can be rotationally driven about a tool axis of rotation and is retained so that the polishing tool can be axially advanced along the tool axis of rotation. Furthermore, the tool spindles can be moved together in relation to the workpiece spindle along a linear axis extending substantially perpendicularly to the workpiece axis of rotation and can be pivoted about different pivoting adjustment axes, which extend substantially perpendicularly to the workpiece axis of rotation and substantially perpendicularly to the linear axis.
LAMINATION MACHINE AND METHOD WITH AN IMPROVED BLOCKER SUPPORT
Disclosed is a lamination machine including: a film support for receiving a functional film to be laminated; an article support configured to receive and position the optical article in a predetermined orientation; and an actuating member configured to move the film support and the article support toward each other for laminating at a predetermined pressure the functional film received in the film support onto the optical article received within the article support. The article support is a blocker support configured to receive a surfacing blocker onto which the optical article is to be disposed for lamination, the article support being further configured to transmit laminating forces induced by the predetermined pressure to the lamination machine during a lamination operation.
Method for producing individual spectacle lenses in accordance with a prescription order
A method of preparing individual spectacle lenses (L) in accordance with a prescription order comprises the steps of: (i) blocking, a provided lens blank (LR) as workpiece on a block piece provided from a plurality of block pieces (B) from a block piece store (BL), (ii) processing the blocked lens blank at least at a second surface so as to obtain a blocked, processed spectacle lens (L) as workpiece, and (iii) deblocking the processed spectacle lens from the block piece, wherein the workpiece, optionally in the blocked state, is transported between the steps (i) to (iii) in one of a plurality of provided transport boxes (T). In the method, the block pieces prior to the step (i) of blocking are stored in the transport boxes in the block piece store and, for the step (i) of blocking, are provided in the transport boxes from the block piece store.
Method, installation and system for processing optical lenses
A method, an installation and a system for processing optical workpieces in which workpieces are conveyed to individual processing apparatus or processing lines corresponding to an assignment. The respective assignment preferably takes into consideration assignment parameters, such as the availability and capability of processing apparatus and/or processing lines. The assignment that already has been carried out is examined before the actual or ultimate conveying and/or when there is a change in the assignment parameters and optionally is changed in a corresponding manner, taking into consideration the current assignment parameters, in order to adapt to current circumstances. As an alternative or in addition, jobs for processing workpieces are forwarded to the processing installations at different sites based on corresponding assignment parameters. Optionally, an examination and, as appropriate, a change in the assignment are made when new jobs or significant changes in the assignment parameters are detected.
INSTALLATION AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING OPHTHALMIC LENSES
One exemplary embodiment relates to an installation and a method for processing ophthalmic lenses, with several processing devices for processing the lenses. The embodiment includes a conveying device connecting the processing devices for transporting lens carriers to and from the processing devices, and with a transfer device for changing transport tracks as required. According to the embodiment, it is provided that the processing devices are arranged in front of the first transport track and that the transfer device is designed as a pushing device with a fork-shaped guide device which guides the lens carriers laterally and in the direction of conveyance.
Method and system for processing optical lenses
A method and a system for processing optical lenses in which the lenses are conveyed to individual processing apparatuses or processing lines corresponding to an assignment. The assignment takes into consideration maintenance that is due.
TRANSPORTATION CARRIER FOR AUTOMATED LENS MANUFACTURING PROCESS AND RELATED MANUFACTURING FACILITY
A transportation carrier is provided for automated lens manufacturing in a lens manufacturing facility, including: at least one block piece or one block piece receiving section; and an electronic paper display configured to display at least an up-to-date status information of the manufacturing process of the optical elements carried by the transportation carrier that is intelligible for a human operator without use of a reading device, the electronic paper display including a wireless communication module and a memory configured to exchange and to memorize job information and to process information for lenses to be manufactured, in which the electronic paper display is further configured to function as a passive RFID tag with the wireless communication module.
