Abrading Disc
A rotating circular disc attaches to a rotary motion abrading tool and converts the rotary motion to a random orbital motion. The disc has a center and has an axis of rotation that is off center and that forms a center of gravity. One embodiment of the disc is a backing plate. A second embodiment of the disc is a polishing pad. A third embodiment of the disc is a combination of a backing plate and a polishing pad.
SANDING DISC STABILIZING STRUCTURE OF ORBITAL SANDER
A sanding disc stabilizing structure of an orbital sander comprises a casing, a sanding power source, a sanding disc, and at least four springs. The sanding power source is assembled on the casing and comprises a drive shaft and a tool holder disposed on the drive shaft and offset from an axis of the drive shaft. The center of the sanding disc driven by the sanding power source to perform an orbital motion is disposed on the tool holder with a locking screw. Two ends of each of the at least four springs are respectively disposed on the casing and the sanding disc. The free length of each of at least four springs is greater than the spacing between an installation part of the casing and an installation part of the sanding disc provided for one of the at least four springs.
Variable radius sanding block
A variable radius sanding block for sanding curved surfaces. The variable radius sanding block includes a base member and a plurality of variably sized radius patches. The base member is sized and proportioned to allow radius patches of varying size to be inserted, such that each of the radius patches will change the curvature of the sanding block upon insertion. The base member also having a folded flexible internal structure and a pair of flexible arms that facilitate insertion of radius patches of varying size. The radius patch includes a pair of grooves that receive the flexible arms of the base member and secure the base member to the radius patch.
Portable power tool having a covering device
A portable power tool having a plate tool (30), in particular a sanding plate or polishing plate, and a drive motor, arranged in a machine housing, for driving the plate tool into an oscillating and/or rotating and/or eccentric movement of a machining surface of the plate tool, wherein the portable power tool is able to be guided with the machining surface in a main working direction forwards and to the side transversely to the main working direction in at least one transverse working direction in order to sand or polish a workpiece surface, wherein the portable power tool has a covering device for the plate tool, said covering device having at least one protective wall which is disposed upstream of at least one lateral surface, extending next to the machining surface, of the plate tool with regard to the main working direction and/or the transverse working direction in order to protect against contact with obstacles.
AUTOMATIC SANDPAPER REPLACEMENT DEVICE FOR CNC PRODUCTION LINE
The present invention discloses an automatic sandpaper replacement device for CNC production line, comprising an automatic sandpaper supply mechanism which comprises a bracket assembly, and a sandpaper receiving assembly and a sandpaper extracting plate disposed on bracket assembly; and an automatic sandpaper peeling mechanism that is mated with bracket assembly, and comprises a mounting plate, and a peeling drive assembly and a peeling assembly mounted on mounting plate; wherein peeling assembly is drivingly connected with peeling drive assembly, peeling assembly periodically peels off waste sandpaper on a sanding head under driving of peeling drive assembly, and sandpaper extracting plate periodically supplies new sandpaper to sanding head after peeling off sandpaper. The automatic sandpaper replacement device improves peeling efficiency, effectively solves problems of uncleanly peeling and peeling residue, saves cost, solves sandpaper jamming problem in a sandpaper supply process, and improves sandpaper replacement efficiency and success rate, thereby further improving productivity.
Sanding tool
The sanding tool comprises a base, a handle, a first clip, and a second clip. A sheet of sandpaper is held in place against the bottom of the block by the clips. A user grasps the sanding tool by the handle and moves the sandpaper against an object to sand the object. The clips each comprise a wire armature that traps an end of the sandpaper between a plate and a handle block. The wire armature passes through and hinges at the handle block. The ends of the wire armature are coupled to the plate. The wire armature extends towards the center of the block on one side and forms a loop. The position of the loop may be changed to release or retain the sandpaper within the clip. The loop may be retained by a knurled screw into a platform on the block.
Motorized scrubbing, buffing, and polishing tool
A motorized tool for scrubbing, buffing, and polishing. The tool has a motor within a housing powered by an electrical power supply to move a base member. Surface treatment material is selectively retained by the base member, potentially by a latching system, a sleeved surface treatment system, or hook and loop material. A water-resistant battery pack can be selectively engaged with the housing, such as through a mating engagement between a tubular projection from the battery pack in combination with an annular socket in the housing, in a substantially watertight manner to provide electrical power. A liquid retaining volume can be disposed within the motorized tool, such as partially within a handle and partially contiguous with a motor compartment of the housing, for retaining a volume of liquid. Liquid can be selectively emitted into or through a surface treatment pad through an exhaust tube.
Automotive Detail Block
An apparatus that focuses on improving efficiency, profitability, and results in the automotive detailing and automotive paint and body shop industries, contains a first layer, a second layer, and a center layer. An inner surface of the first layer is connected to the center layer. An inner surface of the second layer is connected to the center layer opposite to the first sanding layer. The multiple tiers of the apparatus improve user control and maximizes surface contact between the apparatus and the surface being sanded. A first edge and a second edge of the first layer and the second layer can be a straight-cut edge, a bevel cut edge or a rounded edge. Thus, the apparatus can be used on a variety of surfaces. The consistency and the uniformity of the sanding patterns obtained helps the user compound and polish the sanded surface to a more refined finish.
HAND-HELD AND HAND-GUIDED POWER TOOL HAVING A WORKING ELEMENT RELEASABLY ATTACHED THERETO, AND WORKING ELEMENT IN THE FORM OF A BACKING PAD FOR SUCH A POWER TOOL
The invention refers to a plate-like backing pad member (9) for use with a hand-held and hand-guided power tool (1). The backing pad member (9) is adapted for releasable attachment to a driving shaft (27) of the power tool (1) by means of a mechanical form fit connection arrangement comprising a protrusion member (16) connected to the driving shaft (27) and a recess member (17) connected to the backing pad member (9). The form fit connection is releasable in an axial direction running parallel to a rotational axis (13) of the backing pad member (9). The protrusion member (16) is held in the axial direction within the recess member (17) by means of an axial holding arrangement. It is suggested that the axial holding arrangement comprises at least one permanent magnet (40) on the one hand and at least one ferromagnetic element (41) or at least one further permanent magnet on the other hand exerting a magnetic force for holding the protrusion member (16) in the axial direction within the recess member (17). The at least one permanent magnet (40) or the at least one ferromagnetic element (41) or the at least one further permanent magnet is located in or makes part of the recess member (17).
