The present invention relates to a method and a device for processing a hard-coated workpiece surface of a rotationally symmetrical workpiece (1) with at least one grinding wheel, wherein the method comprises the following steps: driving the workpiece (1) into a rotational motion around a workpiece axis of rotation (1.1), driving a grinding wheel (2a) into a rotational motion around a grinding wheel axis of rotation (2a.1), angulating the grinding wheel axis of rotation (2a.1) and the workpiece axis of rotation (1.1) to each other so that the grinding wheel axis of rotation (2a.1) and the workpiece axis of rotation (1.1) are not parallel, processing the workpiece surface with the grinding wheel (2a), wherein the grinding wheel (2a) is in contact with the workpiece surface.

LINER SYSTEM FOR A MILL SHELL
A liner system for installation in a rotatable mill shell having an inner side and an opposed outer side, the liner system including one or more lifter bars. The lifter bar includes a body, a channel plate secured to the body and defining a channel axis, including one or more lateral extensions extending transversely from the central portion in relation to the channel axis, and one or more insert elements positioned between the lateral extension and the inner side of the mill shell, for resisting outward movement of the lateral extension toward the inner side. The liner system also includes one or more attachment assemblies, each including a bolt, for securing the lifter bar to the mill shell. The insert elements are configured to maintain the bolt in a predetermined position in which an axis of the bolt is aligned with the channel axis.
LINER SYSTEM FOR A MILL SHELL
A liner system for installation in a rotatable mill shell having an inner side and an opposed outer side, the liner system including one or more lifter bars. The lifter bar includes a body, a channel plate secured to the body and defining a channel axis, including one or more lateral extensions extending transversely from the central portion in relation to the channel axis, and one or more insert elements positioned between the lateral extension and the inner side of the mill shell, for resisting outward movement of the lateral extension toward the inner side. The liner system also includes one or more attachment assemblies, each including a bolt, for securing the lifter bar to the mill shell. The insert elements are configured to maintain the bolt in a predetermined position in which an axis of the bolt is aligned with the channel axis.
FINISHING DEVICE
A finishing device includes a finishing belt, a finishing belt holding device, a first drive configured to rotationally drive a workpiece about a workpiece axis, and a second drive configured to oscillate the workpiece and the finishing belt relative to another along the workpiece axis. The finishing belt holding device has a holding section configured to hold a portion of the finishing belt. The portion has an active area configured to finish a circumferential workpiece surface. The portion extends in a plane which is vertical when referring to the direction of gravity and extends in a horizontal direction when referring to the direction of gravity and when viewing in the running direction of the finishing belt. The finishing device includes a workpiece holding device defining a workpiece holding axis which is vertical when referring to the direction of gravity.
GRINDING MACHINE AND METHOD FOR GRINDING WORKPIECES THAT HAVE AXIAL BORES AND PLANAR EXTERNAL SURFACES TO BE MACHINED ON BOTH SIDES
A grinding machine for machining workpieces includes a workpiece headstock and two grinding headstocks. A first grinding headstock has two grinding spindles each with one grinding wheel for grinding first and second planar and non-planar external surfaces. A second grinding headstock has a grinding spindle having a grinding wheel for grinding a central bore in the workpiece, and a clamping device to clamp the workpiece. First, the bore and the first planar and any non-planar external surface are ground on one side of the workpiece. Then, the workpiece is clamped in the bore. The second planar external surface can then be ground in the same grinding machine with one of the grinding wheels of the first headstock. The clamping device attached to the second grinding headstock is such that the central axis of the clamping device is exactly aligned with the central axis of the workpiece headstock.

A grinding machine for machining workpieces includes a workpiece headstock and two grinding headstocks. The system further includes an abrasive material insertable through the at least one aperture so that the abrasive material is positionable to contact the outer surface of the specimen.
