Example guards for use with power tools and power tools including such guards. The guards include a collar structured to be removably coupled to a hand-guided electrical tool, a hood coupled to the collar, and a guard ring coupled to the collar via the hood. The guard ring extends entirely around the collar.

Hand-held power tool having at least one machine-side contact element

A hand-held power tool, in particular an angle grinder, includes a gearing housing part and an accessory equipment. The gearing housing part includes at least one machine-side contact element. The accessory equipment includes at least one accessory equipment-side contact element. In the mounted state of the accessory on the hand-held power tool, the at least one machine-side contact element comes into contact with the at least one accessory-side contact element.

A wall repair tool includes a cutter rotatable about a cutter axis and having a cutter body with a cutting surface. The cutter body has a central section and a pair of end sections disposed on opposite sides of the central section. The cutting surface has a first cutting texture in the central section and a second cutting texture different than the first cutting texture in the end sections.

REVERSIBLE LEVER FOR A GUARD ASSEMBLY FOR A POWER TOOL

A stop lever is provided for a power tool having a gear case and a guard member. The reversible stop lever is coupled to the gear case via a fastener. The stop lever includes a first arm and a second arm, and the fastener is removable to position the stop lever such that the first arm or the second arm of the stop lever engages the guard collar. The first arm includes a first surface and a second surface that are angled such that the guard collar can be rotated in a one direction without actuation of the second arm, but not in the opposite direction. The second arm of the stop lever includes surfaces that are angled to prevent rotation of the guard collar in either direction unless the second arm is actuated about the fastener.

METAL FINISHING ROTARY TOOL
20170259392 · 2017-09-14 ·

The present disclosure relates to a metal finishing tool comprising a tool body having a handle section, a motor housing, and an L-shaped support arm that extends laterally from the motor housing to an elbow and longitudinally from the elbow to an arm end. The metal finishing tool further includes a motor and a drive train located within the tool body that are operatively coupled to drive a spindle and rotatable drum, which are coupled to the support arm. The spindle extends from a spindle base proximate to the arm end of the support arm to a spindle end that is free, and the spindle's axis intersects the motor axis of the tool body. The spindle and drum are balanced across the motor axis of the tool, thereby minimizing any torque load exerted by the rotating drum when the tool is in use.

Dust removal assembly for use with disc grinder
11338410 · 2022-05-24 · ·

A dust removal assembly for use with a disc grinder includes a base portion with a member defining a major surface, a wall extending at least partially along an outer periphery of the major surface, an exhaust port contained within the wall, and a first ledge positioned proximate the exhaust port extending along the major surface. A top plate, attachable to the wall, includes a second ledge extending downward from a lateral edge toward the base portion such that the first ledge and the second ledge are positioned proximate to, and extend horizontally parallel to, one another. Both the first ledge and the second ledge are configured to permit a circular disc to travel therebetween. A compartment in fluid communication with an exhaust port is defined by the first ledge, the wall and a minor surface positioned below the major surface.

DUST HOOD FOR A POWER TOOL
20220152767 · 2022-05-19 ·

A dust hood for a power tool, wherein the dust hood includes an extraction region in which a suction hose coming from a dust-sucking device opens into the dust hood. The dust hood has a curvature in the extraction region, wherein the curvature makes it possible for an impulse surge which is generated within a filter cleaning operation of a dust-sucking device to be attenuated by reflection.

Electric power tool

An electric power tool disclosed herein may include a motor; a power transmission mechanism connected to the motor; a housing that houses the motor and the power transmission mechanism; a tool holder projecting from the housing; a cover covering at least a part of a tool attached to the tool holder; and a mask member. The cover may include an engaging portion that engages with the housing. The mask member may have a shape that blocks visibility of at least a part of the engaging portion.
