Floor Finish Removal Pad Assembly and Method of Removing Floor Finish
Floor finish removal pad assemblies are described. Methods of removing floor finish with floor finish removal pad assemblies are described. In particular, the floor finish removal pad assemblies include a compressible backing pad and a plurality of discontinuously arranged non-rigid coated abrasives or a single discontinuously patterned substantially coextensive coated abrasive. Methods using such floor finish removal pad assemblies may remove floor finish effectively even without the use of chemical strippers.
Planetary concrete grinder
A concrete grinder has a rotating planetary gearbox with counter rotating tooling plates attached. The planetary gearbox is powered directly from a trowel gearbox output shaft, which is connected to a center bore of the planetary gearbox. As the planetary gearbox rotates, tooling shafts are forced to counter rotate because the input shaft of the planetary gearbox is connected to a fixed pulley or sprocket. The planetary gearbox is sealed to keep water, dust or slurry from entering.
METHODS AND TOOL FOR MAINTENANCE OF HARD SURFACES, AND A METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SUCH A TOOL
A method is disclosed for treating or maintaining a hard surface comprising a stone or stone-like material, the method comprising treatment of the surface with a flexible pad, in the presence of abrasive particles, bonded to the pad, on a contact surface between the pad and the hard surface, wherein the abrasive particles comprise diamond particles, and the treatment is performed in the absence of an effective amount of crystallization agent on the contact surface. The treatment is performed on a substantially regular basis, such as daily, weekly or monthly, and the treatment is performed using a pad comprising an open, lofty, three dimensional non-woven webs of fibers. A tool for use in the method is also provided, as well as a floor-surfacing machine comprising such a tool and a method for manufacturing such a tool. Furthermore, methods for treating or maintaining hard, smooth surfaces such as wood, polymer material, lacquer, linoleum, gelcoat, glass and automotive enamel are disclosed.
Hand-held machine tool comprising a drive motor
A hand-held machine tool, in particular a sanding machine, including a rod-type handle element for the user to grip and a processing head which is moveably mounted on the handle element by means of a joint assembly. The processing head has an electric drive motor for driving a tool holder provided for holding a processing tool and a speed-reducing gearbox between the drive motor and the tool holder, the gearbox being designed to achieve a reduction in speed of an output of the drive motor relative to a speed of the tool holder. The drive motor is a brushless motor and a power supply system for the drive motor is arranged at a distance from the drive motor on the handle element, the power supply system being connected to the drive motor by means of a cable arrangement.
AUTOMATED DEVICE FOR WOOD FLOOR EDGE SANDING
An automated device for wood floor edge sanding has a chassis comprising a longitudinal slot and a motor slidably coupled to the longitudinal slot. Further, the device has a chain coupled about at least three sprockets, one sprocket coupled to a shaft of the motor such that when the motor is activated, the chain rotates about the sprockets and an edge sander coupled to the chain such that when the chain moves, the edge sander rotates ovally and it intermits travel laterally.
Floor Sanding Device, Floor Treatment Plate and Method for Sanding a Floor
The present invention relates to a floor sanding device for sanding a floor. The invention further relates to a floor treatment plate and a method for sanding a floor. The floor sanding device comprises: —a carrier plate and a drive for driving the carrier plate; —a treatment plate for treating a surface of a floor, wherein the treatment plate is operatively coupled to the carrier plate; and —an intermediary plate that is arranged between the carrier plate and the treatment plate, wherein the intermediary plate comprises at least one compartment for receiving at least one pressure member for providing a higher local pressure.
Grinding head for floor grinding machine and method of assembling a grinding head, setting a belt tensioner, servicing, assembling or disassembling a belt pulley for a floor grinding machine
The present disclosure relates to a grinding head (1) for a floor grinding machine for grinding floor surfaces of stone or stone-like material. Such a grinding head (1) comprises a lower casing member (3), comprising a lower support (31) and an upwardly extending edge portion (32), and an upper casing number (2), comprising an upper cover (21) and a downwardly extending edge portion (22), wherein the upper casing member (2) is joinable to the lower casing member (3) by causing axially distal portions of the edge portions to bear on each other.
A FLOOR SURFACING MACHINE WITH DIFFERENT DRIVE MOTORS
The present disclosure relates to a floor surfacing machine (100) comprising drive wheels (171, 172) and a planetary head (140) with one or more satellite grinding heads (120), A first drive motor (110) is arranged to drive the planetary head (140) and a second drive motor (130, 430) is arranged to drive the one or more satellite grinding heads (120). The first drive motor (110) is arranged to be directly powered only by means of a re-chargeable internal electrical power source (310) comprised in the floor surfacing machine (100).
Method and apparatus for removing stock material from a surface
Tooling is provided for mounting to a tooling plate to remove stock material from a surface based on rotation of the tooling plate about an axis. The tooling includes a backing plate and a plurality of segments. Each segment includes a bond and diamonds. The plurality of segments are secured to the backing plate such that a spacing is provided between the plurality of segments in a circumferential direction defined by an arc from a first side to a second side of the backing plate and/or a radial direction orthogonal to the circumferential direction. A method is also provided for removing stock material from a surface using the tooling.
SURFACE PROCESSING DEVICE
A surface processing device includes a machining mechanism and a driving mechanism driving the machining mechanism to polish a workpiece. The machining mechanism includes a machining assembly and a first transmission shaft eccentrically coupled with the machining assembly at a first end. The first transmission shaft rotates to bring the machining assembly into revolving around the first transmission shaft. The driving mechanism includes a motor connected to a second end of the first transmission shaft for outputting power to the machining mechanism. The surface processing device provides smooth machining without the noise of a pneumatically-powered tool.
