Shot Peening Apparatus
A shot peening apparatus capable of precisely controlling the amount of shots supplied projects, by a shot impeller, shots onto a workpiece, and has a bucket elevator which conveys the shots to a predetermined height, a motor which drives the bucket elevator, and a control device which controls the current value of the motor. The control device issues an alert when the current value of the motor becomes lower than a predetermined current value.
Shot processing apparatus
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a drum-type shot peening device capable of shortening processing time. This shot peening device comprises: a bottomed, cylindrical drum having one end thereof open; and a projector provided on the open side of the drum and which projects projection material on to a workpiece inserted inside the drum. The projector comprises: a cylindrical control gauge having an opening window that is formed in the side wall thereof and serves as a discharge port for the projection material, said opening window having a rectangular shape having two sides thereof parallel to the center axis of the control gauge having the projection material supplied therein; and an impeller comprising a plurality of blades arranged on the outside of the control gauge so as to extend in the radial outside direction of the control gauge, said impeller rotating around the center axis of the control gauge and having a backward-tilting section that is tilted towards the rear side in the blade rotation direction and is provided on the surface on the front side in the rotation direction.

Blast wheel and quick-connect blade assembly
A shot blasting wheel for use with a shot blasting machine configured to propel abrasive shot against a workpiece. The shot blasting wheel includes a circular body member defining a plurality of slot openings a front surface defines a plurality of slots. Each slot and slot opening has a dovetail configuration. The shot blasting wheel includes a plurality of blade assemblies, each including a paddle positioned in a respective slot via insertion through a respective slot opening. Each blade assembly also includes a locking lever pivotally coupled to the body member and pivotally movable between a locked configuration preventing removal of the paddle from the respective slot and a released configuration allowing removal. Further, each blade assembly includes a dual spring assembly having a lever spring tensioned and biased for movement between extended and released configurations and having a paddle spring configured to resist a paddle lug.

Impeller for a blast wheel machine
An impeller for a centrifugal blast wheel machine includes a hub provided at one end of the impeller, with the hub being configured to be coupled to the motor. The impeller further includes a tapered section provided at an opposite end of the hub, with the tapered section defining a media inlet to receive blast media. The impeller further includes a plurality of drop-shaped vanes positioned between the hub and the tapered section. The plurality of drop-shaped vanes is spaced from one another on peripheries of the hub and the tapered section. The plurality of drop-shaped vanes defines a plurality of impeller media outlets constructed and arranged to allow egress of blast media upon rotation of the impeller. Each vane is drop-shaped having a leading side directed toward a direction of rotation of the impeller and a trailing side opposite the leading side.
SHOT PROCESSING APPARATUS
Provided is a shot processing apparatus capable of suppressing scattering of projection materials to the outside without causing any deterioration in projection efficiency. The shot processing apparatus comprises: a cabinet; a drum housed in the cabinet and having an opening allowing loading of a workpiece therethrough, wherein the drum is configured to be selectively disposed in one of a workpiece-loading position, a workpiece-processing position and a workpiece-unloading position; a projector for projecting the projection materials into the drum; and a door for selectively opening and closing the opening of the drum, the door being formed with a projection port for the projection materials, the projector being attached to the door so as to project the projection materials from the projection port; wherein the door is configured such that the projection port is disposed just above the opening of the drum when opening the opening of the drum.
