SHOT-BLASTING DEVICE, INSPECTION METHOD, AND COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM RECORDING INSPECTION PROGRAM

A processor (213) carries out, after a device is activated and before a blasting medium projected to a projection target object (500), a first inspection process (T1) for determining, in a state in which no blasting medium (400) is supplied to an impeller (110) while each motor of the impeller is rotating, whether a current value supplied to the each motor of the impeller is not more than a first threshold (θ1), and a second inspection process (T′1) for determining, in a state in which the impeller is projecting the blasting medium, whether the current value supplied to the each motor of the impeller is not less than a second threshold (θ2), and displays, on a display (300), at least one of (1) respective determination results of the first inspection process and the second inspection process and (2) a determination result obtained by generalizing the determination results (1).

A DEVICE FOR REDUCING THE SIZE OF DRY ICE GRANULES FOR DRY ICE CLEANING DEVICES
20220193864 · 2022-06-23 ·

A device for reducing the size of dry ice granules for dry ice cleaning devices including a supply of dry ice to a device for mixing of dry ice particles with the flow of gaseous medium. The device includes a die with a set of orifices for granulate passing and a granulate pushing-through member for pushing the granulate into the die. The die is placed in a body with at least one sloped surface inclining to the inside of the body towards the die, which, the body, is connectable to a supply of dry ice granulate to a device for mixing of dry ice particles with the flow of gaseous medium in a dry ice cleaning device, where above the die a granulate pushing-through member is movably mounted. The pushing-through member includes at least one surface facing the die, where this surface forms an acute angle with the die surface, and the orifices of the die at the side of the pushing-through member are provided with a recess or shape modification of the edge of the orifice increasing the roughness of the surface of the die relative to the roughness of the surface of the pushing-through member.

ROTARY CRUSHER AND FEEDER FOR ICE BLASTING SYSTEM
20220176516 · 2022-06-09 · ·

An ice blasting system comprising a hopper to receive bulk ice and a rotary crusher disposed inside the hopper, the rotary crusher having rotary crusher arms that cooperate with anvils to produce crushed ice from the bulk ice. The system includes a rotary feeder mechanism disposed below the hopper, the rotary feeder mechanism having a rotor that includes ice-receiving pockets for receiving the crushed ice. The rotor rotates against an airtight seal block and delivers the crushed ice into a high-pressure airstream passing through the rotary feeder mechanism to thereby entrain the crushed ice into the high-pressure airstream whereby the ice-entrained airstream subsequently exits the ice blasting system through an outlet.

Surface cleaning and engraving machine via a vacuum blasting process

Essential constructive elements of the currently known machines and devices, which work by means of vacuum blasting, are improved in the surface cleaning and engraving machine that operates via a vacuum jet process in order to enable more effective cleaning of different surfaces, further applications and simplification of the handling of the machine or device. With the modifications and additions made, the application options of the machine or device are increased, the potential of clogging the suction hose is reduced to a minimum, the service life of the machine is extended and the efficiency and operating options of the blasting hood are improved. For this purpose, technical and design details of an already known machine are supplemented and improved; there are, for instance, a metering device (3), additions to the blasting hood (6) and measures to extend the service life of the machine by using rock impact films (31).

Method and device for cleaning a jet engine

A method for cleaning a jet engine includes introducing a cleaning medium having solid materials into the engine by way of at least one discharging device, wherein the cleaning medium exits from the discharging device at an exit speed of 80 m/s or less.

Shot Cascading Apparatus For Cleaning 3D Printer
20230330814 · 2023-10-19 ·

A shot cascading apparatus for cleaning 3D printed components, generally of any surface debris, such as residue silica from the printing of the component, includes a series of vertically aligned structures, including a shot supply hopper, having a bottom regulated shot gate, for discharging through gravity of metallic shot, into a lower aligned funnel, nested within the bin of a machine base, that allows for surface cleansing of a printed component while achieving a finished product. The supply hopper has a shot gate that is adjustable, for controlling the amount of released shot, and the bottom of the funnel includes a sand separator nozzle, that separates the steel shot from the residue sand, drawing the sand back into the nozzle and conveying it by suction to a location for collection. Beneath the bin is a shot recycle pump, that returns the steel shot back into the supply hopper, for immediate reusage. Various structural support is provided for the hopper, the funnel, and the bin, to maintain the relative degree of separation between these components, to facilitate their usage and operations.
