The elongate support arm extends at a fixed angle relative to the slide member and has a second end with the clamp provided thereon.
Combination Of A Sheath And A Knife
A combination of a sharpening sheath and a knife comprising a blade intended to be stored in the sheath, wherein the sheath comprises a cavity (40) intended to receive the blade and an access opening at one of the ends of the cavity, the sheath comprising, in the lower part thereof, a device for receiving the cutting edge of the blade, characterized in that the sheath comprises, in the upper part thereof, a locking element cooperating with a safety element provided on the back of the blade in order to longitudinally immobilize the knife in the sheath and in that the device for receiving the cutting edge of the blade is borne by an arm rotatably mounted in the sheath, the sheath comprising biasing means acting on the arm to bring the receiving device of the cutting edge of the blade towards the locking element.
Sharpening Sheath Adapted To Receive A Knife, And Combination Of Such A Sheath And A Knife
A sharpening sheath, designed to receive a knife to be sharpened or stored, comprising a cavity for receiving a blade, an access opening at one end of the cavity, the sheath comprising, preferably in the vicinity of the access opening, an upper part equipped with a device for guiding the back of the blade and a lower part comprising a sharpening device onto which the cutting edge of the blade is intended to be applied when inserting the blade in the sheath or removing it therefrom, characterized in that the sharpening device is supported by an arm comprising a first longitudinal end rotatably mounted on a stand, the arm being returned by recoil means in the direction of the guiding device, and in that the sharpening device is rotatably mounted at a second longitudinal end of the arm.
Sharpening Sheath Adapted To Receive A Knife, And Combination of Such A Sheath And A Knife
A sharpening sheath, adapted to receive a knife to be sharpened or stored, comprising a cavity for receiving a blade, an access opening at one end of the cavity, the sheath comprising, preferably in the vicinity of the access opening an upper part provided with a guiding device for the back of the blade and a lower part comprising a sharpening device on which the cutting edge of the blade is intended to be applied when inserting or extracting the blade in the sheath, characterized in that the guide device comprises a V-shaped groove and in that the sharpening device comprises two sharpening elements arranged in a V-shape opposite the groove of the guide device, the sharpening device being mounted so as to be movable relative to the guide device and being returned by return means in the direction of the guide device.
KNIFE SHEATH
A knife sheath includes a receptacle and an attachment piece for suspending the knife sheath from a user. The knife sheath is provided with a collar which is detachably attached to the receptacle at an opening. An edge receiving portion of the collar is provided with a sharpener that imparts a sharpening action to a blade of a knife which is introduced into the receptacle. The receptacle and the collar are shaped to allow the collar and receptacle to be attached to each other in a first position and in an alternative second position such that the knife sheath is suitable for both left-handed and right-handed users.
FISH FILLET KNIFE SHEATH WITH THE SHARPENING FUNCTION
This invention is about a fish fillet knife sheath with sharpening function, inside the sheath body features a storage chute, inside the storage chute features a sliding in sharpening rod, a pop-up pressure spring located between the front end of the storage chute and the sharpening rod, in the rear of the sheath body features a locking lever with a hinge, the rear part of the locking lever features a locking block which extrudes towards the sharpening rod, the front lateral side of the locking block features a locking slope oblique towards the sharpening rod from the front to the back; the rear part of the sharpening rod features a compaction slope which is coordinated with the locking slope, the sheath body features a cam switch via the switch pin with a hinge, the cam switch features a locking pressure spring. This invention is simple, convenient, beautiful and hands protective.
Sharpening Device
A device for sharpening bladed tools comprising a body defining an elongate handle portion adapted to be gripped in one hand by a user, the body having a forwardly projecting support member curved or angled downwardly with respect to the handle portion and fitted with a sharpening element at or near the end thereof, wherein the support member comprises a pair of spaced support arms extending generally parallel to the longitudinal extent of the handle portion, the support arms being positioned to respective sides of the sharpening element and defining an aperture therebetween adapted to accommodate a blade or anvil of a tool during sharpening of a counterpart tool blade.
Acute angle blade sharpening apparatus and method for sharpening blades
An acute angle blade sharpening apparatus and method for sharpening blades is configured to sharpen the edge and bevel of a blade at the specific acute angles between 21° and 23°, or about 22° and 23°. The apparatus has a base member forming multiple elongated depressions oriented at 22° and 23°. Multiple elongated sharpening members are fixedly mounted in the depressions. The blade is oriented perpendicular to the first side of the base member and drawn against the sharpening members, to engage at the desired 22° and 23° sharpening angles. A leveling instrument attaches to the blade to verify the blade is oriented at the desired angles. A leveling instrument cavity stores the leveling instrument and fastener. Springs retain the sharpening members in the cavity of the base member when not in use. A clamp fastens the base member to a mounting surface for enhanced stability.
MAGNETIC SHARPENING JIG COMPRISING A FLEXIBLE CONTACT ELEMENT
A magnetic sharpening jig, in particular for holding, by magnetic force, a cutting tool which is to be sharpened or polished and which includes a magnetizable blade, and for positioning said cutting tool relative to a sharpening and/or polishing tool, e.g. a rolling sharpener. In order to provide a versatile magnetic sharpening jig, the magnetic sharpening jig includes at least one flexible contact element with which the magnetically attracted blade of the cutting tool comes into contact during normal operation. Also disclosed are a set including a magnetic sharpening jig and a rolling sharpener, as well as a method for sharpening or polishing the cutting tool using the magnetic sharpening jig.
SHARPENING JIG HAVING AN ADJUSTABLE ANGLE
A sharpening jig, in particular for holding a cutting tool which is to be sharpened or polished and which includes a blade, and for positioning the blade at least at one positioning angle with respect to a sharpening and/or polishing tool, e.g. a rolling sharpener. In order to be able to position the blade at different positioning angles and thus allow the sharpening jig to be used with more versatility, the sharpening jig has at least two parts which are movable relative to each other to set different positioning angles.
