Bore finishing tool
A bore finishing tool has an arbor with a tapered outer circumferential surface and a sleeve over the arbor having a tapered inner circumferential surface cooperatively disposed in surface to surface overlaying relation to at least a substantial portion of the tapered outer circumferential surface of the arbor. The sleeve is adjustably movable relative to the arbor for expanding a diametrical extent of the sleeve and has a plurality of internal material relief features at circumferentially spaced locations in the tapered inner circumferential surface extending partially through the sleeve so as to reduce a level of force required for expanding the diametrical extent of the sleeve. Exemplary material relief features include flutes and fractures. The sleeve can also include an external retraction feature enabling application of a retraction force by an external device for reducing the diametrical extent.

Bell shaped rotary sander
An attachment for a sanding tool includes a first portion and a second portion. The first portion has a generally tubular shape that defines a mounting end portion for mounting the attachment on the sanding tool. The second portion defines a distal end portion of the attachment and a plurality of slits. The slits extend along an axial direction of the attachment to divide the second portion into flaps configured to axially flex and define a contoured sanding surface along the axial direction.
Quick-change sanding drum
A sanding drum assembly in one embodiment includes at least one elastic friction member defining an outer perimeter, a plurality of feet located inwardly of the at least one elastic friction member, each of the plurality of feet including a movable portion movable between a first position whereat the plurality of feet define a first outermost circumference and a second position whereat the plurality of feet define a second outermost circumference, wherein the second outermost circumference is larger than the first outermost circumference, and an actuator, wherein the plurality of feet and the actuator are configured such that as the actuator and the plurality of feet change from a first configuration to a second configuration, the plurality of feet are forced from the first position to the second position.
