The system includes a forward clamping assembly, steady rests and compression assembly upon which the fuselage of a rocket is secured. The forward clamping assembly secures the forward fuselage of the rocket and the steady rests secure the middle fuselage of the rocket. The compression assembly includes a fluted nozzle rotator which engages the flutes of the nozzle of the rocket. Rotation of the nozzle rotator results in torque being applied to the joint connecting the rocket nozzle with the motor casing of the rocket so as to allow insertion or removal of an Ortman key that secures the motor casing and nozzle.
Workpiece holder device and method for mounting a workpiece in a workpiece holding device
A workpiece holder device for workpieces to be machined on multiple sides, wherein the workpiece can be held axially and radially relative to the first axis between a first workpiece holder, operatively connected to at least one support spindle of the workpiece holder device and rotatable about the first axis, and at least one second workpiece holder, operatively connected to at least one drive spindle of the workpiece holder device and rotatable about the first axis, by force locking by means of a clamping force which can be built up in the manner of a vice between the first workpiece holder and the second workpiece holder in the axial direction of the first axis and acting on the opposite sides of the workpiece.

Pallet for transporting electrical connectors
A pallet, manufacturing system, and method for transporting and assembling different electrical connectors are provided. The pallet includes first and second jaw assemblies spaced apart from a connector support. The jaw assemblies include jaw plates with gripping edges that form a contoured opening therebetween. As the jaw assemblies move toward one another, dimensions of the contoured opening decrease such that the gripping edges contact and grip an electrical connector placed in the contoured opening. The jaw assemblies are connected to each other by a synchronization device that synchronizes motion of the jaw assemblies and centers the jaw assemblies about an alignment point on the pallet. The pallet accommodates a number of different sizes and/or types of electrical connectors.

Methods for processing workpieces. A first temperature of a first section of a workpiece having a non-uniform thickness may be maintained. A cooling rate of a second section of the workpiece may be controlled while maintaining the first temperature of the first section. The workpiece may be quenched after cooling the second section of the workpiece to form a quenched workpiece, in which the cooling rate may be controlled such that the second section of the workpiece has desired properties.

A pallet, manufacturing system, and method for transporting and assembling different electrical connectors are provided. The pallet includes first and second jaw assemblies spaced apart from a connector support. The jaw assemblies include jaw plates with gripping edges that form a contoured opening therebetween. As the jaw assemblies move toward one another, dimensions of the contoured opening decrease such that the gripping edges contact and grip an electrical connector placed in the contoured opening.
