A positioning fixture including a shielding member and a driving member is provided. The shielding member includes a sliding part slidably connected to a functional module, a guiding part, and a shielding part. The sliding part and the shielding part respectively extend from two opposite ends of the guiding part. The driving member is movably disposed on the functional module corresponding to the shielding member. The driving member includes a base part, a driving part that contacts the guiding part, and a pillar part, which protrudes from the base part and is adapted to pass through the guiding groove. When the functional module is positioned on the circuit board, the base part of the driving member is pushed by the electronic component, and the guiding part is pushed by the driving part, so that the shielding member slides and the shielding part shields a screw hole of the circuit board.

A disassembling device for removing fastening components embedded in a workpiece includes a supporting base, a clamping assembly, and a pushing assembly. The pushing assembly includes a sliding assembly, an adjusting rod, and an ejecting pin. The workpiece defines a first through hole which communicates with a positioning hole. The workpiece is clamped by the clamping assembly, the sliding assembly is connected to the supporting base and can slide along a first direction and a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The adjusting rod passes through the sliding assembly to connect with the ejecting pin, the ejecting pin is driven to extend into the first through hole and to move in a direction perpendicular to the first and second directions, so as to push the fastening component out of the positioning hole.

Apparatus and method for making internally finned pressure vessel

An apparatus for fabricating an internally finned pressure vessel includes a plurality of positioning discs, each of the positioning discs defining a plurality of circumferentially spaced slots extending radially into the positioning disc from a perimeter thereof, and one or more rods extending through the plurality of positioning discs, the plurality of positioning discs being held in axial alignment by the one or more rods. A method of fabricating the internally finned pressure vessel includes providing the apparatus, loading a plurality of fins into the slots of the positioning discs, inserting the apparatus containing the plurality of fins into a pressure vessel, attaching the plurality of fins to the pressure vessel by a brazing process, and removing the apparatus from the pressure vessel.

Omni-positional adhesion device

Aspects are provided for retaining components of an assembly to a support, including additively manufactured (AM) parts of a vehicle chassis to an assembly table. A cartridge for securing the component to the assembly table is provided which includes a housing including at least one compartment, an adhesive disposed within the at least one compartment, a fastener removably attached to the assembly table, and a membrane lid enclosing an opening of the housing. The membrane lid is configured to receive a protruding member from the component such that the protruding member becomes adhered to the adhesive upon penetrating the membrane lid. The cartridge thus allows the component to be quickly retained in any selected position while constraining movement of the component along six degrees of freedom, thereby allowing AM and non-AM parts to be securely retained to accommodate strict tolerance and precise fit between the components of the assembly.
