A screwing tool, including an elongate handle which, at each of the two ends thereof, bears a head pivotable about a pivot axis and having two torque transmission flanks in each case and has a force application flank for introducing a force in order to produce a torque on the head remote from the relevant force application flank, wherein, in a pivoting end position of the head, in which a stop of the head lies against a counter stop of the handle, a narrow side of the head functionally directed away from the stop forms an extension of the force application flank. The second head forms an extension of the force application flank and can be used as a hand grip.

Adjustable wrench

An adjustable wrench is disclosed. The adjustable wrench is used for an assembly part. The adjustable wrench includes a frame and an adjustable member. An inner side of the frame has a first rack. The adjustable member has a second rack meshed with the first rack. The adjustable member and the frame are meshed with each other by the first rack and the second rack such that the adjustable member forms a first space inside the frame, wherein the adjustable member adjusts a meshing position of the second rack and the first rack to change the size of the first space; thus, the first space can match assembly parts of different specifications.

A rapid adjustable wrench includes a body, a movable jaw, and an engaging device. The body has a fixed jaw, a sliding groove, and a containing recess. The movable jaw includes a sliding portion movably arranged in the sliding groove and a first toothed portion adjacent to the sliding portion. The engaging device includes an engaging member and a toggle switch. The engaging member is arranged in the containing recess and has a second toothed portion selectively engaged with the first toothed portion. One end of the toggle switch is connected to the engaging member. The toggle switch is able to drive the engaging member to move between an engaging position and a releasing position.

Adjustable open end wrench

An adjustable open end wrench includes a pivot extending through a handle and a first jaw, permitting the first jaw to pivot relative to the handle. A second jaw is pivotably connected to the handle and is slidably connected to the first jaw. An elastic element is disposed between the handle and the second jaw. The second jaw includes a second driving portion facing a first driving portion of the first jaw. The first and second jaws are jointly pivotable relative to the handle between first and second positions. The first and second driving portions are close to each other when the first and second jaws are in the first position. The first and second driving portions are away from each other when the first and second jaws are in the second position. The elastic element is configured to move the second jaw towards the first position.

The present invention may be used for rotating a polygonal object. A first wrench member may have a handle with two ends with a fixed jaw attached at a first end and with a cavity formed in the fixed jaw and first end. A second wrench member may be a movable jaw with a curved jaw attached to a ratcheting element. The ratcheting element may be slidably positioned in the cavity to position the curved jaw opposite the fixed jaw. The second wrench member may be constrained by the cavity and a cavity insert member to slide in said cavity about the center of an arc. The cavity insert member is positioned between a rearward wall of the cavity and the ratcheting element and retains the ratcheting element within the cavity.

Three jaw adjustable socket
20170334043 · 2017-11-23 ·

A ⅜ drive adjustable socket apparatus comprised of a three jaw socket members which ride triangularly and radially within an upper cylindrical tapered housing. The jaw members are abutted inward at 15 degrees to the jaw housing radial walls of the same angular taper. Each jaw member has an inner 120 degrees V-notch which becomes a hexagonal configuration when they are trilaterally spaced apart to accept standard hexagonal configured nuts and bolt type fasteners. The adjustable socket apparatus has a ⅜ inch driver end which has a two slotted windows to allow the use of thumb and index finger to rotate the inner serrated wheel that is exposed through both opposite window slots on the bottom portion of the adjustable socket embodiment. The lower driver end of the adjustable socket has a ⅜ square cavity to accept male universal ratcheting driver. The adjustable socket's driver embodiment also has an internal serrated fixed wheel and a right hand threaded central actuator unit which is solidly affixed onto the vertical shaft. When the serrated wheel is manually rotated, it influences the three jaws to either move upwards or downward depending on the axial rotation of the main vertical thread. The three jaws maneuvering is accomplished by a smaller, upper diameter actuator ring horizontally seated at the lower limb of each jaw member to influence its movement in either an upward or downward and tapered motion. The main vertical thread screw is attached to the vertical adjusting wheel which is secured by the horizontal retention snap ring located beneath an internal groove just above the said serrated wheel. As the user rotates the exposed serrated wheel and its vertical threaded vertical internal screw, it will activate the smaller diameter upper horizontal wheel upwards or downwards as the main vertical thread and serrated gear is being manually rotated on its Z axis. This actuates the threaded adjusting horizontal ring which is housed within the three jaw members' lower slotted or pocket features. The upward and or downward, X coordinate rotation will influence the jaw members to move in either an upward or downward motion at a 15 degree inward angle and ride within the tapered cylindrical walls of the upper jaw housing at the same 15 degree angle. Either a clockwise or counterclockwise rotation causes the main central right hand threaded actuator wheel, when rotated, to move the jaws upward and/or downward because of the influence of the main vertical threaded screw.

Adjustable tool

A tool (10) for rotating a screw-on oil filter cartridge, the tool comprising a driving member (28, 28b); gripping jaws (12a, 12b) movable in relation to each other for gripping an oil filter cartridge; a guide arrangement (13, 14a, 14b) for guiding the gripping jaws; means (16a, 16b) for biasing the gripping jaws towards each other; and a driving mechanism (28, 28c, 24, 22a, 22b, 20a, 20b, 21a, 21b) coupled to the driving (28b) member and gripping jaws (12a, 12b) for converting rotation into movement of the gripping jaws towards each other, into engagement with an oil filter cartridge and applying either screwing or unscrewing torque thereto.
