Socket driver, and method of connecting perforating guns
A socket driver for a perforating gun assembly. The socket driver includes a first end, and a second end opposite the first end. The second end defines an inner diameter that has a length to extend over a threaded end of the tandem sub. The socket driver is configured to mate with a shoulder along the tandem sub of the perforating gun assembly. Specifically, the socket driver includes a radial notched profile. The notched profile is configured to mate with a radial pattern of slots along the shoulder of the tandem sub. In one aspect, the socket driver is between 3 and 8 inches in length. In one aspect, the first end of the socket driver comprises an opening configured to receive a torque tool. A method of connecting ends of perforating guns using the socket driver is also provided herein.

A system for measuring angle adjustment of a hookspanner wrench to accurately tighten a bearing onto a shaft, the shaft having an adapter sleeve mounted thereon, the adapter sleeve having a threaded and tapered portion. The system including a device providing a hookspanner wrench having a lever arm and an engaging portion, the engaging portion of the hookspanner wrench configured to engage a bearing locking nut, the lever arm configured to mount a storage clamping device fixed thereto, a smartphone secured in place by the storage clamping device, and a specialized application stored on the smartphone that provides a built-in inclinometer and look up data tables.
SPLINE WRENCH
A Spline Wrench is disclosed for manually rotating clockwise and engaging a power take off (“PTO”) drive shaft of a tractor, truck, aircraft, or watercraft having six or more splines for aligning the PTO with a female coupling of a machine, tool, or equipment, such as a mower, tiller, combine, water pump, air pump, fuel pump, compressor, generator, or other similar machine, tool, or equipment. The apparatus is used to rotate clockwise and align the splines of a spline shaft manually without having to engage the engine and transmission and pulsing the shaft to rotate it into position. Various embodiments of the Spline Wrench are designed to engage the splines of a Type 1 540 RPM 1 3/8 in. diameter 6-spline shaft, a Type 2 1000 RPM 1 3/8 in. diameter 21-spline shaft, a Type 3 1000 RPM 1 3/4 in. diameter 20-spline shaft, and a Type 4 1300 RPM 2 1/4 in. diameter 22-spline shaft.
Double-ended release wrench for a tie down ratchet strap
A release wrench for a tie down ratchet strap, having an elongated body with a first wrench end positioned at a first end of the elongated body, and a second wrench end positioned at a second end of the elongated body. Each of the first and second wrench ends are notched such that either end can be inserted into the rotating ratchet of a tie down ratchet strap such that rotation of the release wrench causes the rotating ratchet to move. The first wrench end extends in a direction perpendicular to the elongated body of the release wrench, and the second wrench end extends in a direction parallel to the elongated body of the release wrench. As a result, the wrench can be positioned at four different (i.e.: 90 degrees apart) positions when the release wrench is first turned to cause the rotating tie down ratchet to move. This provides a simple and effective way to “un-stick” a dirty ratchet by prying it loose. Since the release wrench can conveniently be positioned initially in one of four different orientations, the wrench can be operated in conditions where there is little clearance for hands or tools, such as underneath or around vehicle trailers or cargo containers.
Tool
The inventions relates to a tool 10 that is adapted to loosen or fasten connector nuts located in areas of reduced space. The tool 10 is particularly useful because it allows manipulating basin nuts 40 located between the lower portion of the basing and piping that provides water to the faucets that are attached to the basin via the nut. The tool comprising a body having a first section adapted to receive the fastening means and a second section adapted to receive the torque, the first section and the second section being adapted for attachment to each other to transfer the torque to the first section, wherein the first section is adapted to allow piping to be located adjacent the second section during use of the tool to allow the first section to receive the fastening means. The tool may be configured as a socket. The invention also relates to a kit including the sockets.
Standpipe operations spanner tool
A firefighter multi-tool is configured as a standpipe operations spanner tool and comprises several features for adjusting standpipe pressure regulating valves, and performing other functions performed by firefighters. The tool includes a handle portion and a lateral coupling portion. The lateral coupling portion includes an adjustable wrench having a fixed jaw elements and a moveable/adjustable jaw element. The tool can include a socket portion at the end of the handle opposite the lateral coupling portion. A valve cap spanner can be includes on the lateral coupling portion opposite the adjustable wrench.
