11566731 · 2023-01-31 ·

This invention provides for a hand-held clamping tool to position and hold two pipe flanges in place allowing for the alignment the bolt holes and the gasket that in placed between the pipe flanges by using an alignment spike; and then holding the pipe flange and the gaskets in place while bolts are installed to join the two gasket sections together. The invention also has a detachable alignment spike and a also has a calibration mark on the alignment spike. The invention also describes a tool for positioning and holding ISO flanges.

Method of manufacturing a bladed stator element for a turbomachine and tool for carrying it out

Methods of manufacturing a bladed stator element for a turbomachine include mounting a tool on a circumferential zone of an annular shell prior to welding vanes in the circumferential zone, welding radially outer ends of the vanes to the annular shell, dismantling the tool after welding the vanes in the circumferential zone, and repeatedly mounting and dismounting the tool on different circumferential zones of the annular shell so as to fix the vanes all around the annular shell.

A method for manufacturing a pipe conduit arrangement including sticking a pipe stub onto a pipe conduit at least up to the flush state of the of the flange section end-face and the nips conduit end-face, fixing the pipe conduit in the pipe stub in a press fit which is produced by the radial widening of the pipe conduit, and axially clamping the arisen pipe conduit units by way of clamping the flange sections of the pine stubs into the nine conduit arrangement. Also described is a pipe conduit arrangement.

TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY COMPRISING A TRANSMISSION HOUSING AND A RECEIVING SPACE FOR RECEIVING AN ELECTRONIC AND/OR ELECTRICAL FUNCTIONAL UNIT

A transmission assembly may include a transmission housing; and a receiving space for receiving an electrical functional unit. The receiving space may be formed by at least one wall in the transmission housing and a lid unit, the receiving space may be sealable from an exterior environment via a seal in a contact region on the transmission housing and the lid unit. The lid unit may be connectable to the transmission housing by a screw, where the lid unit includes a channel through which at least part of the screw passes, and where the channel has an inner thread section.

Tool and method for garbage disposal installation

A tool aligns a snap-ring with a sink-flange tailpiece of a garbage disposal, and is used to slide the ring up along the tailpiece outer surface to a groove. The tool expands the snap-ring, prior to installation on the tailpiece, by an expansion mechanism, to a diameter that is slightly larger than the outer diameter of the tailpiece. The tool receives a stack of conventional disposal components on the tool top end, so the user with one hand can raise the tool and the stack to the tailpiece, and the fingers and thumb of the one hand can push the expanded snap-ring upward to reach and snap into the groove. The expansion mechanism may be a tapered tool bottom end, an expander tab, and/or an adaptation wherein the tool is reduced in diameter to fit inside a relaxed snap-ring and then increased in diameter to expand the snap-ring.

Device and method for fitting two connections at the end of two conduits, in particular in an aircraft

Device for fitting two connectors at the end of two conduits, particularly in an aircraft, with a view to subsequent mutual connection of the connectors by a connecting pipe, including a body; a first support including temporary connector retainers that define an associated connector axis; an opposite second support including temporary connector retainers that define an associated connector axis; structure for moving the first support in translation relative to the body parallel to the associated connector axis, between a retracted position and a deployed position. A method of establishing fluidic communication between two conduits in an aircraft, including fitting two connectors at the end of the two conduits by such a device.

A coupling bolt hole alignment tool, a method to align two coupling holes, one in each of two coupling halves, and a system to align two coupling holes are provided. The coupling bolt hole alignment tool and system includes an expandable sleeve assembly configured to be inserted into the second coupling hole and secured into the second coupling hole with a wedge nut. A rotatable rod including an eccentric hole formed in one end of the rod is contained within the expandable sleeve assembly. A pin/paw assembly includes a pin and paw. The pin is inserted into the eccentric hole from the first coupling hole and the paw is disposed within the first coupling hole and includes a portion oriented against a wall of the first coupling hole. Rotation of the rotatable rod while the pin/paw assembly is held stationary by a restraining device aligns the two coupling holes.
