Push button release mechanism for pliers

A push button release mechanism for coupling together two portions of a tool, such as pliers. The push button release mechanism can include a push button and one or more balls pushed in a radially-outward direction by geometry of the push button to pivotally couple the two portions together. The balls are normally pushed outward by an engagement portion. Depressing a push button head axially downward causes the balls to align with a receiving portion, which allows the balls to descend into the interior of the mechanism. The push button release mechanism is also threadably coupled with a threaded opening of one of the portions. The threaded opening can have deformed threads to increase the retention torque required to rotate the push button release mechanism.

C-Clip

A C-clip includes a C-shaped clip body and two peripherally open holes. The clip body can be opened and closed elastically. The peripherally open holes are provided on two lateral sides of the clip body respectively and are adjacent to or located at the two ends of the clip body respectively. The peripherally open holes are provided in the clip body and each have a communication opening and a closed end. A wall between the communication opening and the closed end of each peripherally open hole forms a stop edge for preventing a tip of a retaining ring plier from moving out of the peripherally open hole. The outer diameter of the clip body can be changed by applying forces to the clip body via the peripherally open holes respectively. As the clip body does not have any particularly protruding portion, the C-clip can be used in various situations.

A one-way oil-way driven expansion and retraction movement tool includes a hydraulic driving structure, two long arm rods and two connecting rods, wherein, the hydraulic driving structure has a cylinder barrel, a plunger and a shaft rod, the two arm rods are opposite each other and are opposite the two sides of the shaft rod in the lateral direction. One end of each arm rod is respectively pivoted on the cylinder barrel, and the other end of each arm rod is respectively used for arranging a working piece, so that each working piece can move toward or away from each other to execute corresponding work. The connecting rods are respectively pivoted with each of the arm rods and with the connecting part, so that, through the connecting rods, the shaft rod can pull the arm rods to move away from each other or toward each other.

Circlip pliers comprise a first plier and a second plier. The first plier is provided with an external connection portion, an internal connection portion, and a pivot portion located between the external connection portion and the internal connection portion. The second plier is provided with an external connection portion, an internal connection portion, and a second pivot portion located between the second external connection portion and the second internal connection portion. The external connection portions are adapted to insert into grip holes in an external circlip. The internal connection portions are adapted to insert into grip holes in an internal circlip. The first and second pivot portions are pivotally connected with each other.

Snap ring pliers

A snap ring pliers contain: a handle, a first clamper, a second clamper, two clamp feet, and an adjustment structure. The handle includes a connection column. The first clamper includes a first hollow fitting ring, a first arcuate section, a second arcuate section, and a first straight section. The second clamper includes a second hollow fitting ring, a third arcuate section, a fourth arcuate section, and a second straight section. A respective one clamp foot of the two clamp feet includes a shaft inserted into the first straight section or the second straight section. The adjustment structure includes a first post, a second post, a threaded rod, and a sleeve. A direction of a threaded section of the first threaded orifice is opposite to a direction of a threaded section of the second threaded orifice. The threaded rod has a first screwing section and a second screwing section.

Coating For Cutting Implement

A cutting implement including a metal substrate and a coating is provided. The coating has zirconium PVD (ZrCRTiNO), which provides protection against corrosion of the metal substrate. In some instances, the zirconium PVD provides protection from corrosion for at least 200 hours. A layer of titanium nitride (TiN) can be added to the coating to increase the hardness of the metal substrate. In such an embodiment, the layer of titanium nitride (TiN) is applied before the zirconium PVD (ZrCRTiNO). Titanium nitride (TiN) coated steel is 3 to 5 times harder than uncoated steel. Thus, a combination of titanium nitride (TiN) and zirconium PVD (ZrCRTiNO) as a coating on a metal substrate can increase the life of the metal substrate by providing increased hardness and anti-corrosive properties.

RETAINING RING PLIER SYSTEMS AND METHODS

A plier assembly comprising first and second handle assemblies each comprising a frame assembly, a support block, a tip assembly, a proximal pin, and a distal pin. A main hinge assembly supports the second handle assembly for movement relative to the first handle assembly. The proximal openings are sized and dimensioned such that, as the second handle assembly moves relative to the first handle assembly, longitudinal axes of the support block are substantially parallel.

A hose clamp includes a clamp body formed by bending a plate spring into an annular shape while two ends of the plate spring are caused to cross, grip tabs formed to be raised radially outward from both ends of the clamp body, respectively and an expanded-diameter state retainer formed integrally on the clamp body or the tabs and capable of retaining an expanded-diameter state of the clamp body and releasing the clamp body from the expanded-diameter state by relative movement of both tabs in an axial direction of the clamp body with a gripping operation applied to both tabs. The tabs have respective distal ends, one of which has a larger width than the other. The distal ends are bent circumferentially outward into bent portions spaced from each other. The bent portions are insertable into positioning recesses formed in opposite surfaces of a gripping tool, respectively.
