The fastener driver further includes an air compressor including a compressor cylinder and a compressor piston movable within the compressor cylinder in a reciprocating manner to compress air within the compressor cylinder. The fastener driver further includes a drive train converting torque from the motor to a linear force applied to the compressor piston, causing the compressor piston to move in the reciprocating manner. At least a portion of the drive train extends through the handle portion of the housing.

A pneumatic nail gun includes a gun body, a muzzle connected to the gun body for receiving a nail, a cylinder unit disposed in the gun body, an air valve unit having a cover portion, and a striking unit having a piston. The cylinder unit includes a gas storage chamber, a striking cylinder having a cylinder chamber 510 in fluid communication with the gas storage chamber, and at least one gas storage cylinder in fluid communication with the gas storage chamber for receiving a gas having a pre-determined gas pressure. The cover portion is operable to interrupt fluid communication between the cylinder chamber and the gas storage chamber, and to allow the fluid communication such that the piston is pushed by the gas to strike the nail.

A pneumatic tool includes a drive mechanism configured to be driven by compressed air supplied from an air intake; an air chamber configured to store the compressed air supplied; and a pressure adjusting mechanism configured to adjust the pressure of the compressed air in the air chamber. The pressure adjusting mechanism includes a valve body configured to open and close a flow path that communicates the air intake and the air chamber with each other; an elastic body configured to exert an urging force to the valve body to open the flow path; and a pressure receiving member configured to receive air pressure in the air chamber and exert an urging force in a direction of closing the flow path to the elastic body. The elastic body is arranged at a position closer to the air intake than the valve body.

Driving tool

Pneumatic tool

A pneumatic tool includes a drive part configured to be driven by compressed air, a control valve configured to switch the presence or absence of operation of the drive part, and a timer part configured to switch the presence or absence of operation of the control valve after a lapse of a predetermined time. The timer part includes a timer piston configured to move in one direction, a timer piston cylinder configured to support the timer piston such that the timer piston can slide, and an on-off valve part configured to switch the presence or absence of operation of the control valve in conjunction with the timer piston. The on-off valve part includes a shaft portion configured to move in conjunction with the timer piston, and compressed air flowing into the on-off valve part presses the shaft portion in the one direction.

PNEUMATIC MICROFASTENER DRIVING TOOL

A pneumatic fastener driving tool that forces pressurized gas from a gas supply source into a chamber above a piston enclosed in a working cylinder. During an operational cycle, the pressurized gas is released, forcing the piston to fire. The firing valve seals the pressurized gas utilizing two rolling diaphragm seals, thereby providing less breakdown of hardware and removing the need for lubricant within the firing valve. These diaphragm seals exhibit a smaller diameter than prior diaphragms used in similar pneumatic fastener driving tools.

The timer part comprises a timer piston configured to move in one direction, and a timer piston cylinder configured to support the timer piston. The pneumatic tool comprises a throttle part configured to throttle the flow rate of air flowing into or flowing out from the timer piston cylinder, and an adjustment part configured to adjust an operating time of the timer piston.

ONE-PIECE FILL VALVE FOR POWERED FASTENER DRIVER

A powered fastener driver including a storage chamber cylinder, a fill port, and a one-piece fill valve. The storage chamber cylinder encloses a piston cylinder and defines therewith a storage chamber in which compressed gas is stored. The fill port is in communication with the storage chamber. The one-piece fill valve is at least partially positioned within the fill port. The fill valve includes a slit, which, in a closed state, prevents gas in the storage chamber from being discharged to the atmosphere through the fill valve. In an open state of the slit, the slit permits the storage chamber to be refilled with compressed gas through the fill valve. A pressure exerted on a portion of the fill valve in which the slit is defined by compressed gas within the storage chamber maintains the slit in the closed state.
