Compressed air nailer with safety valve arrangement

A compressed air nailer comprises a control line configured to trigger a driving process when a valve pin is displaced relative to a valve sleeve into an actuated position. The valve sleeve is configured to move between a triggering position and a locked position. A switching surface is coupled to at least one of a trigger and a placing sensor and configured to actuate the valve pin. An outer sleeve is configured to guide the valve sleeve. The switching surface is positioned at a switching surface position relative to the outer sleeve when both the trigger and the placing sensor are actuated. The switching surface is configured to displace the valve pin into the actuated position when the valve sleeve is positioned in the triggering position. The switching surface does not displace the valve pin into the actuated position when the valve sleeve is positioned in the locked position.

AIR-PATH STRUCTURE OF PNEUMATIC NAIL GUN

An air-path structure of pneumatic a nail gun, formed inside a gun body containing high-pressure air, comprises a main air chamber, a firing valve air chamber and a time-delayed air chamber that continuously releases the high-pressure air to the atmosphere. The gun body is configured with a trigger valve and a slider valve. The inside of the trigger valve is formed with a safety-on air chamber and a safety-off air chamber. The trigger valve controls the high-pressure air inside the firing valve air chamber to be discharged to the atmosphere. The slider valve controls the high-pressure air inside the main air chamber flowing toward the firing valve air chamber, the time-delayed air chamber and the safety-off air chamber. Specifically, the safety-on air chamber is constantly communicated with the main air chamber and constantly contains high-pressure air, and the slider valve can control the high-pressure air inside the safety-off air chamber flowing into the time-delayed air chamber. In this way, the invention can improve the operating safety of conventional pneumatic nail guns.

Driving tool

A driving tool without necessary to secure an arrangement space dedicated to an actuator is provided. A driving tool includes: a striking unit movable to strike a fastener; a housing for supporting the striking unit; a trigger provided in the housing; a push lever provided in the housing, and a trigger valve, and the driving tool further includes: a slide member provided in the trigger; and a solenoid provided in the trigger and configured to move the slide member.

Combustion chamber valve and fuel system for driven fastener hand tool

A novel combustion chamber valve and fuel system for driven fastener hand tool is disclosed having a fuel pump disposed parallel to the combustion and piston chambers. Pressure applied a safety at the nose of the tool is activates the fuel pump in a common direction. Pressure applied on a trigger activates the valve system prior to firing in a common direction. The valve system employs a central shaft coupling three valves, an inlet valve using a novel wedged circumferential edge seal, a control valve using a novel edge circumferential seal with a ventilated support, and a charging exhaust valve using a face seal.

A mechanical timer mechanism can include a driven gear mounted to a rotary damper and a drive gear operably coupled to the driven gear. In bump mode, movement of a trigger to its firing position can initially move the drive gear into its wind-up position. Thereafter, a contact trip can move the drive gear to its wind-up position and an actuator of the trigger to its firing position each time the contact trip is activated, unless the timing mechanism has timed out between firings. In sequential mode, the drive gear can be moved into a timer lock-out position which holds the contact trip in a bypass position in which the contact trip will not engage the actuator of the trigger unless the trigger is moved to its firing position prior to activation of the contact trip.
