A stapler including a moveable strike plate and accessibility features is described. A slidable strike plate is moveable from a first staple forming position to a second staple forming position to form different staple shapes. The slidable strike plate is moved relative to the anvil of the stapler with a single hand to change positions. A rotatable strike plate is turned with a single hand to move between staple forming positions by rotating an outer dial of the rotatable strike plate relative to the anvil of the stapler. The stapler includes an indicator window that shows if the stapler is empty or running low on staples and a quick release staple loading magazine that is operable using a single hand.

Multi-Fastener Supply Depletion Indicator
Coil nails and similar fasteners to be driven by an automatic nailing tool have at least two different visual appearances after driving. Fasteners driven from a fresh magazine have a first visual appearance, and fasteners driven thereafter from the same magazine have a second, different visual appearance. A magazine may include fasteners having three or more different appearances. Preferably, all of the different appearances are grouped together so that all of the first appearance fasteners are driven, then all of the second appearance fasteners, and so on, until the last fastener having the last appearance is driven. Visual differences may be in color, size, shape, surface texture, or another characteristic.
Staple cartridge and stapler
There is provided a staple cartridge, on which a refill is configured to be mounted, the refill including a refill main body configured to accommodate therein a plurality of staple sheets in a stacked state and having a discharging port for discharging the staple sheets, and a staple presser configured to be placed on the stacked staple sheets so as to move in a stacking direction of the staple sheets as the staple sheets are discharged through the discharging port and an amount of the staple sheets is reduced. The staple cartridge includes a mount portion, on which the refill is configured be removably mounted, and a displacement member provided on the mount portion and configured to abut against the staple presser to be displaced in accordance with a position of the staple presser in a state where the refill is mounted on the mount portion.
Nail Gun Reload Indicator
The nail gun indicator gives the user an alarm when the nail supply is or near depletion. The indicator beeps and a light comes on to make the user aware of the need to replenish the nail supply thus creating a more effective product with their nail gun of choice.
This invention provides an improvement as well as an important safety feature to an existing product, a standard nail gun. The Nail Gun Reload Indicator can be attached externally or can be incorporated into the design by the manufacturer.
The Nail Gun Reload Indicator is a feature that will alert the user as to the status of the nail supply in the gun. This will prevent the user from getting into a precarious situation with an inadequate supply of nails. An example would be, A carpenter on a ladder holding a heavy beam and trying to nail it in place and the nail gun is empty.
Let it be noted that for the purpose of this application, the term nail gun will apply to all pneumatic or gas driven fasteners.
Stapler device with viewing window and integrated staple removal tool
A device functioning as a stapler. The device including a viewing region within an arm of the stapler. The viewing region adapted to provide a user of the device with a view of an interior of a magazine within the arm of the stapler, wherein a user of the device can determine the amount of staples within the magazine without having to open the device. The device further includes an integrated staple removal tool received within a base portion of the device.
