Adjustable scribe and associated use therefore
An adjustable carpentry reveal tool includes a base member, and a sliding member slidably engaged to the base member wherein the sliding member is configured to be selectively displaced along predetermined linear increments relative to the base member without becoming detached from the base member. Advantageously, the sliding member is configured to simultaneously mark a pair of adjustable reveals along the x-axis and the y-axis of the trim corner of the frame opening without having to fasten the base member to the trim corner of the frame opening. Notably, in this manner, the adjustable reveals are defined between an outermost periphery of the base member and an outermost periphery of the sliding member.
PORTABLE APPLIANCE FOR MARKING A SURFACE
The invention relates to a portable appliance for marking a surface, the appliance comprising a housing (2) presenting a front face that is open for passing a marker member that is moved by a device for moving the marker member in a two-dimensional marking zone (Z). The housing is provided with a positioning nose (30) for positioning the appliance over the surface for marking, the positioning nose defining firstly the two-dimensional marking zone (Z) facing the front face of the housing and at a distance from the front face, and secondly an opening (35) extending the top wall for enabling the two-dimensional marking zone to be viewed, the top wall of the housing being fitted with a display screen in such a manner that the screen and the two-dimensional marking zone as seen through the opening of the positioning nose appear simultaneously in the field of view of an operator.
MARKING APPARATUS AND KIT FOR BLIND MOUNT ALIGNMENT
A marking apparatus facilitates blind mounting of an object to a mounting surface in a desired alignment using the object as an alignment template. One end of the apparatus is configured to be affixed to a mounting slot or edge of the object, then the other end used to mark the appropriate supporting fastener location on the mounting surface. The object's mounting slots or edges may be represented by mounting hardware components that are flush with, recessed in, or protruding from the local planar surface of the object. To accommodate a broad variety of mounting conditions and mounting hardware, certain embodiments of the apparatus may include selectively adjustable or interchangeable head adapters, distinct head and retention configurations and/or a hardware relief channel. A channel adapter is disclosed for use with embodiments of the apparatus having a hardware relief channel. Embodiments of a slot-securable point marking tool are also disclosed.

MARKING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MARKING
A method for applying a position marking for a working position to a substrate, for example a wall, a ceiling, a floor or the like, at a marking position assigned to it, comprising: a. unsystematically or systematically moving a portable marking system over a marking area of the substrate; b. determining at least one position of the marking system; c. marking at the determined position of the marking system, provided that the determined position coincides with the marking position or at least coincides with the marking position to a predefined or predefinable degree of accuracy. The invention also relates to a marking system.
Projection method, projection device, and projection system
A projection method, which is executed by a projection device, for projecting drawing data for a building onto a projection plane of the building under construction includes: measuring a distance from each of three or more points which are not aligned in a straight line and are on either of two non-parallel straight lines on the projection plane to the projection device using a distance meter included in the projection device; and projecting the drawing data onto a projection position on the projection plane which is determined based on the distance measured and the angle of the distance meter at the time at which the distance is measured.
Gap uniformity device
A device for creating a uniform gap between adjacent vehicle panels. The device includes an elongate member extending along a longitudinal axis between a first end and a second end. A grip portion is disposed along the elongate member between the first end and the second end. A first arm extends coaxially from the grip portion in a first direction, and a second arm extends coaxially from the grip portion in a second direction opposite the first direction.
