A masking foil for a shaving cartridge comprising a front side, a back side, a pair of lateral sides, at least one ribbon extending along a top side of the masking foil between the front side and the back side, and a first securing portion located at one of the pair of lateral sides. The first securing portion comprises a cross-member extending along the top side of the masking foil between the front side and the back side, and at least two securing elements extending laterally outwardly from the cross-member.

Razor having a hair-cutting fiber having a hair-cutting section attached to a support in such a position relative to a skin engaging surface that the hair-cutting section is exposed to a user's skin for cutting through hairs when the skin engaging surface is in contact with the skin and moved over the skin. The hair-cutting section has a fiber diameter smaller than or equal to 7 μm and is made from a fiber material having a tensile strength larger than or equal to 5 GPa. A shaving method using such a razor is also described.

A razor comb hair tool and a kit containing the same are disclosed. Embodiments include an elongated guard member having an exterior with first and second opposing edges and a hollowed interior defining a cavity, wherein the first edge includes a plurality of spaced apart comb teeth and the second edge includes an opening allowing access to the cavity. Embodiments also include a handle member adapted along a first edge to make a slidable connection with the second edge of the guard member.
