Razor handle with a pivoting portion
A handle. The handle can include a main body and a pivoting head pivotally coupled with the main body about a pivot axis. The pivoting head can have a substantially trapezoidal prism shape and can include a base member and a cover member that overlies the base member in a mating relationship. The cover member can have a face defining at least one exterior opening and the pivoting head can have an interior compartment comprising an electrical component.
Shaving Device
A shaving device comprising a head assembly including a support member having at least one support member magnet and a blade cartridge having at least one face with at least one razor blade and configured to be rotatably coupled to the support member about a pivot axis. The blade cartridge includes at least one blade cartridge magnet having a pole aligned with a pole of the support member magnet to generate a magnetic force that urges the blade cartridge about the pivot axis towards an initial starting position (ISP), wherein the blade cartridge is further configured to rotate about the pivot axis away from the ISP upon application of an external force sufficient to overcome the magnetic force between the support member magnet and the blade cartridge magnet.
Shaving Aid For Razor Cartridges Comprising Filaments
A shaving aid for razor cartridges comprising water soluble filaments exhibiting lubricating properties and with improved visual and tactile aesthetics.
Printed Lubricious Material Disposed On Razor Blades
A razor blade having an improved lubricious material deposited thereon and a method of making a razor blade for a razor cartridge having such a material disposed thereon are described herein. A novel printing process and printing material are provided where at least one printing material is deposited on one or more razor blades via a printing process which includes one or more print heads for printing the at least one printing material and forming at least one printed object on a tip or one or more sides of the razor blade. The printing material may comprise about of about 0.25% solid to about 50% solids by weight of composition of telomer and further desirably comprises glycerol and/or an antifoam material. Optimizing coverage of the printing material may be achieved by changing materials, print heads, the firing frequency of the print head or angling or rotating the print heads.
Razor Blade With A Printed Object
A razor cartridge, a razor blade, and a process of producing a razor cartridge and razor blade is provided including at least one blade positioned between the guard and the cap where the visible surface of the at least one razor blade includes a printed object wherein the printed object has a height dimension of from about 0.04 mm to about 0.60 mm. The printed object may extend continuously along the length of the razor blade and/or may have multiple portions having a comb-like structure. The printed object appears as a solid object to a viewer's naked eye. The solid object includes a plurality of printed ink dots not visible to the viewer's naked eye. The printed object of flexible, polymer ink may act as a guard element on the razor blade which helps with glide and to manage a user's skin (e.g., bulge) during shaving.
Shaving Aid For Razor Cartridges Comprising A Nano-Filament Comprising A Core And Sheath
A shaving aid for razor cartridges comprising water soluble filaments having nano-sized diameters and exhibiting lubricating properties and with improved visual and tactile aesthetics, wherein said nano-filament has a core and a sheath.
Shaving Aid For Razor Cartridges Comprising A Nano-Filament
A shaving aid for razor cartridges comprising water soluble filaments having nano-sized diameters and exhibiting lubricating properties and with improved visual and tactile aesthetics.
DISPOSABLE RAZOR
A razor blade head for shaving, comprising a razor blade element, a bracket mounted to the razor blade element and a manual control element configured to enable a user to apply force from a side of the bracket opposite to the razor blade element, the force transferred from the manual control element to the razor blade element via the bracket, wherein the bracket is configured to define an opening between the manual control element and the razor blade element.
Razor handle with a pivoting portion
A handle. The handle can have a main body and a first substantially flat arm having a first distal end and a first proximal end defining a first arm opening can be coupled to a first location of the main body. A second substantially flat arm having a second distal end and a second proximal end defining a second arm opening, can be coupled to a second location of the main body. The first and second distal ends can be in spaced relationship and have pivotally coupled therebetween a pivoting head having a trapezoidal prism shape.
Shaver with sensors and methods for providing a shaving lubricant having a smart polymer
A system and a method for adaptively releasing a lubricant or a cosmetic for a razor cartridge, a sensing unit detects a property of at least one of skin, air, water and a chemical agent in a region adjacent to the razor cartridge. A smart polymer provided on the razor cartridge is selectively responsive to a characteristic external stimulus by undergoing a physical or chemical change. A processing unit controls the release of the lubricant or the cosmetic by providing the characteristic external stimulus to cause the smart polymer to undergo a change. The processing unit compares the detected property to a reference threshold parameter and determines whether to provide the characteristic external stimulus to the smart polymer based on the comparison, thereby generating the lubricant or the cosmetic. The determined level of depletion of the smart polymer is indicated by a light, aural, or haptic indication.
