Shaving razor handle
A shaving razor handle includes, a main body, a pair of arms extending from the main body, and a pivoting head. The pivoting head includes a base member and a biasing member. The base member is pivotally coupled with the pair of arms to facilitate pivoting of the pivoting head about a pivot axis between a home position and a fully pivoted position. The base member includes a front wall and a rear wall. The front wall includes a front exterior surface. The rear wall includes a rear exterior surface. The biasing member is operably coupled with the main body and is configured to bias the pivoting head into the home position.
Shaving blade assemblies
The present disclosure is related to shaving blade assemblies comprising a housing having at least one cavity; a shaving aid support having one or more lubricating elements thereon, the shaving aid support being rotatably attached to the housing about a center axis, wherein at least a shaft portion of the shaving aid support is disposed in the at least one cavity of the housing.
Anti-clogging razor
Anti-clogging manual razor cartridge equipped with an arrangement of rollers and cutting blades arranged in an alternating manner with each other, namely, a leading roller, a leading cutting blade, a trailing roller, a trailing cutting blade and a final cutting blade. Each of the cutting blades are bent to obliquely angle two portions thereof with one of the two portions terminating into a sharpened edge. The arrangement is such that the sharpened edge of the leading cutting blade is over the leading roller, the sharpened edge of the trailing cutting blade is over the trailing roller, the sharpened edge of the final cutting blade is over the trailing cutting blade.
Razor components with novel coating
This invention relates to a novel application of liquid-infused surface materials (LISM) to at least a portion of one or more surfaces of razor components (e.g., frame, housing, clips, blade supports, blade body, blade edge, lubricating bodies, guard, handle, grip, button). If applied to a skin contacting surface of a component, the one or more LISM layers may generally be abrasion-resistant, long-lasting or non-erodible, desirably elevating shaving performance, such as glide, comfort, rinsing, and cleanliness, while also simplifying the manufacturing process.
Shaving aid delivery systems for razors
A razor head, comprising a housing comprising one or more cutting elements, the housing further comprising a first window, and a second window; a substrate-based shaving aid delivery system, comprising a first reel that is rotatably mounted about a shaft, an actuator operationally coupled with the shaft, wherein at least part of the actuator protrudes externally from the housing via the first window; and a substrate carrying a shaving aid on its external surface.
Shaving razor cartridge
A method of assembling a razor cartridge. A housing is injection molded. An elastomer is co-injection molded to the housing forming a pair of laterally spaced apart blade stabilizers. A primary blade member having a cutting edge is mounted to the housing. The cutting edge of the primary blade member is contacted with the laterally spaced apart blade stabilizers. A blade retention member is mounted to a top surface of the housing. A pair of lateral ends of the cutting edge of the primary blade member is constrained between the blade retention member and the pair of laterally spaced apart blade stabilizers.
Shaving device
A shaving device comprising a head assembly including a support member having at least one support member magnet and a blade cartridge having at least one face with at least one razor blade and configured to be rotatably coupled to the support member about a pivot axis. The blade cartridge includes at least one blade cartridge magnet having a pole aligned with a pole of the support member magnet to generate a magnetic force that urges the blade cartridge about the pivot axis towards an initial starting position (ISP), wherein the blade cartridge is further configured to rotate about the pivot axis away from the ISP upon application of an external force sufficient to overcome the magnetic force between the support member magnet and the blade cartridge magnet.
Warming lubrication strips or lubricating material on razor blade cartridge
A razor having a handle and blade cartridge containing one or more blades includes a battery power source and a heating system powered by the battery source for heating the one or more blades and/or a heating element on the blade cartridge. The blade cartridge further includes a strip of lubricating material thereon that is heated by the heating system when the blades and/or heating element warm up. As the strip of lubricating material is warmed up, it provides a release of extra lubricating chemicals, including fats or other lubricating agents. This helps to provide a more comfortable shave while also protecting the user's skin both during shaving and after shaving.
Shaving razor cartridge
A shaving razor cartridge with a housing having a blade platform. A first blade retention member is positioned on the blade platform and has a front wall formed by a first wall and a second wall that define an obtuse included angle. A second blade retention member is positioned on the blade platform and has a rear wall facing the front wall of the first blade retention member. The rear wall has a first wall and a second wall that define an obtuse included angle. A blade member is positioned between the front wall and the rear wall. The second walls have a contact length of about 0.2 mm to about 1.0 mm.
Dual sided razor
One embodiment of a dual sided razor comprises a handle and a cartridge attached to the handle, the cartridge further comprising a first shaving side and a second shaving side, the cartridge being switchable relative to the handle between the first and second shaving sides.
