APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR LONGITUDINALLY CUTTING A RIBBON OF FOOD, IN PARTICULAR A RIBBON OF CHEESE, INTO STRIPS
An apparatus for cutting a ribbon of food into strips. The apparatus includes a cutting apparatus toward which the ribbon of food is moved at a transport speed in a transport direction which has a grooved shaft and a cutting shaft. The grooved shaft has grooves which encircle the grooved shaft in the transport direction. The grooved shaft takes over the ribbon of food. The cutting shaft has cutting knives which encircle the cutting shaft in the transport direction. The cutting shaft is arranged opposite to the grooved shaft. The ribbon of food is guided between the cutting shaft and the grooved shaft. One respective cutting knife engages slightly into one respective groove disposed opposite thereto to cut the ribbon of food into the strips. The cutting shaft has a length of at least 600 mm. The grooved shaft has a length of at least 600 mm.
DRUG PACKAGING DEVICE
Disclosed is a drug packaging device including a packaging unit and a cutting unit. The packaging unit includes a pair of packaging rollers that are pressed against each other with a drug packaging member disposed therebetween, thereby forming isolation regions in the drug packaging member at regular intervals so that at least one drug accommodation section can be formed between the isolation regions. The cutting unit forms a non-continuous zigzag cut line in which peak-shaped cuts and valley-shaped cuts are alternatively arranged and separated by a plurality of uncut portions. With this structure, it is possible to contribute to improvement in durability of a drug packaging member as well as in cuttability of the drug packaging member.
CUTOFF KNIFE SERRATION
A pair of cutoff knives configured for mounting on counter-rotating drums such that a serrated edge of one knife of the pair intermeshes with a serrated edge of the other knife of the pair to create a sinusoidal-shaped gap between the intermeshed serrated edges.
Apparatus and method for cutting facestock
Apparatuses and methods for cutting a facestock on a liner. An anvil roller receives facestock on liner. A cutting roller, under a force, cuts facestock between the cutting roller and the anvil roller. At least one support roller supports the cutting roller and, optionally, the anvil roller, thereby distributing the force into two or more portions and/or subportions, in two or more directions. Apparatuses, methods and kits for preparing a cutting surface of a cutting roller in a facestock cutting apparatus, or for extending the usefulness of a cutting roller. An equalizer roller is provided in a position adjacent to the cutting roller. The equalizer roller has an equalizing surface having a hardness at least as hard as a hardness of the cutting surface. The cutting roller is rotated against the equalizer roller such that the cutting surface is equalized by the equalizing surface.
Apparatus and process for cutting adhesive labels
A method and apparatus are provided for die cutting label stock comprising a facestock, an adhesive and optionally a liner to form labels where a liner of the linered pressure sensitive adhesive label stock may be a thin or ultrathin liner.
Shearing device and brush production machine with shearing device, and use of a shearing device
A shearing device (1) having a blade (2) with at least one blade cutting edge (5) which is helically coiled, and rotatable, about an axis of rotation (R) of the blade (2). The blade cutting edge (5) is assigned a counterpart blade cutting edge (4) of a counterpart blade (3). The shearing movements, by which for example bristle filaments (7) of brushes (8) for machining can be cut to length, are generated by relative rotational movement of the at least one helically coiled blade cutting edge (5) with respect to the preferably static counterpart blade cutting edge (4) of the counterpart blade (3). Since the blade (2) and the counterpart blade (3) can keep their spacing to one another constant during operation, there is a relatively low risk of injury during the use thereof.
CHOPPING MACHINE
A chopping machine includes a driving unit, a cutting unit, and a conveying unit. The cutting unit has a blade shaft and an immovable blade seat. The blade shaft has a plurality of movable blades. One side of the immovable blade seat is connected with an immovable blade. The conveying unit has a feeding member. Thereby, by putting a material into the feeding member, the driving unit drives the cutting unit and links the conveying unit to run. The material is chopped by the movable blades and the immovable blade, so as to improve the safety in use and reduce the situation that the material is jammed or nipped in the feeding process, and the purpose of labor-saving and fast operation is achieved.

Filling machine and a method for filling a package of a web of packaging material with a food product
The disclosure relates to a filling machine (1) for filling a package (2) of a web of packaging material with a food product. The filling machine (1) comprises a jaw system (3) adapted to seal the package (2) after being filled with the food product. The jaw system (3) is equipped with means (4) for providing a unique mark (5) on the package (2). The filling machine (1) further comprises a sensor (7) arranged downstream of the jaw system (3) which is adapted to detect the mark (5) on the package (2), and a cutting knife (8) adapted to cut the package (2) from the web of packaging material. The cutting knife (8) is movably arranged in the filling machine (1), such that the cutting knife (8) can be adjusted in relation to the package (2) based on the detected mark (5) before cutting the package (2) from the web of packaging material. The disclosure also relates to a method for filling a package (2) of a web of packaging material with a food product.
Manufacture of vegetable chips
An apparatus for cutting vegetable slices that includes a central impeller coaxially mounted with a cutting head for rotation about an axis within the cutting head for delivering vegetables radially outwardly from a center of the impeller toward the cutting head. A water jet spray device is mounted at the base of the impeller, aligned with the axis, and includes a raised mound having an outer wall surrounding an inner wall defining a central depression, the outer wall extending downwardly and outwardly from an annular rim between the central depression and the outer wall, and a plurality of substantially radially oriented channels serially provided around the raised mound, each channel extending outwardly from a channel inlet within the central depression to a channel outlet in the outer wall.
