A precision positioning device of a unit-type die cutting & hot stamping machine includes a positioning element on an input end of a first imprinting element and a positioning element on an output end of each imprinting element. Two neighboring positioning elements accomplish the positioning between the two positioning elements together. Each positioning element is constituted by a positioning assembly installed symmetrically on each end of the imprinting element. The positioning assembly includes a positioning rod which can rotate against an installation shaft. Each positioning rod includes a positioning block which is provided with a reference surface. A rear side of the gripper is provided with a reference matching surface. By the positioning elements, the accuracy in the art of die cutting & hot stamping can be assured when the machine is performing a multiple-working-position procedure.

A tie rod forming apparatus includes a frame for supporting a material holding unit that releasably holds tie rod stock material, and a feed bed in structural communication with the material holding unit. The feed bed selectively accepts and manipulates the tie rod stock material. A cutting assembly is provided in operative communication with the feed bed, and an operator interface module is in communication with the material holding unit and the cutting assembly. The material holding unit selectively dispenses the tie rod stock material to the feed bed, and the cutting assembly manipulates a portion of the dispensed tie rod stock material, in dependence upon parameters communicated by the operator interface module.

A device incorporated into a waterjet cutting machine provided with at least one receiving tank and a movable nozzle, the device being capable of sensing a high-pressure waterjet coming out of the nozzle and including a movable receptacle arranged inside the receiving tank in line with the nozzle, the lower portion of the receptacle being connected to a flexible pipe connected to the bottom of the receiving tank, and —a drive for supporting and moving at least part of the receptacle including the pipe assembly, the drive including a driving member rigidly connected to the nozzle, and a driven member attached to the receptacle, the driving member and the driven member not being mechanically connected.

Methods and apparatus to align applique cutters are disclosed. A disclosed example alignment rail is for use with cutting an applique relative to a surface of a vehicle. The example alignment rail includes a base to contact the surface. The example alignment rail also includes a body including a cross-sectional profile extending along a longitudinal axis of the alignment rail. The example alignment rail also includes a groove of the cross-sectional profile extending along the longitudinal axis, where the groove is to align movement of a cutting tool to cut the applique.

A shaft cutting tool incorporating a scissor assembly having a first arm, a second arm, and a hinge interconnecting the arms' proximal ends; a shaft mount attached to the first arm's distal end; and a cutting wheel assembly operatively mounted within a hollow bore formed at the second arm's distal end; wherein the cutting wheel assembly includes a drive axle and rotary bearing; and wherein the drive axle extends oppositely from the cutting wheel for engagement with a portable electric drill.

A cutting machine with a cutting support for material to be cut has a vertically movable, horizontal blade bar which bears a blade for cutting the cut material located thereon. A vertically movable, horizontal clamping bar is for pushing down the material to be cut. Two guide plates are arranged adjacent to one another, spaced apart in parallel in the same vertical plane, and in each case said guide plates have an inclined linear slot in which the blade bar is guided, and on the front faces thereof facing one another in each case have a vertical guide on which the clamping bar is guided.

A roof cutter and a method of cutting a roof is provided. The roof cutter includes a base that is movable between a retracted configuration and a cutting configuration. In the retracted configuration, the blade is displaced from the roof. In the cutting configuration, the blade is positioned so as to facilitate cutting of the roof. The roof cutter includes a stop assembly and an engagement member that is configured to engage with the stop assembly when the base is in the cutting configuration, thereby establishing a maximum cutting depth. A dampening mechanism softens impacts associated with the blade moving to the cutting depth and absorbs vibrations associated with cutting the roof at the cutting depth. An adjustment assembly is configured to selectively adjust the cutting depth and/or to selectively restrain the base in the retracted configuration, thereby preventing the blade from cutting the roof.

A spatula edge trimming apparatus for re-edging a spatula includes a base housing with the front side having a spatula receptacle slot extending through to the cavity. The bottom side has a drop aperture extending through to the cavity. The spatula receptacle slot is configured to receive a spatula. A cutter is coupled to the base housing within the cavity and is configured to cut an edge of the spatula. A drive is coupled to the top side of the base housing and is in operational communication with the cutter. A plurality of controls is coupled to the base housing and is in operational communication with the drive. A power source is coupled to the housing. The power source is in operational communication with, and provides power to, each of the drive and the plurality of controls.

A food slicing device is disclosed. The food slicing device comprises a body configured to contain at least one food item and a lid having a protecting member. The body has a plurality of recesses defined within the body that are configured to receive a cutting blade of a knife or the like. The lid is hingedly attached to the body and is configured to move between a first position where the lid at least partially covers a top opening of the body, and a second position wherein the lid does not cover the top opening of the body.

A fixture includes a pipe having a vertical axis that is coaxial with a center of the pipe, a cutting element having a cutting blade, and a jig assembly coupled to the cutting element and arranged to orient the cutting blade at an angular orientation relative to the vertical axis of the pipe.
