Method and apparatus for turning pens
A complete pen mandrel turning assembly that may allow for simple, accurate, and repeatable centering of a pen mandrel shaft. The presently disclosed system may further include a tail stock assembly that is adjustable to allow the tail stock to be positioned right next to the pen blank to eliminate any chance of runout and other associated problems. Further, the present disclosure may provide a series of precision bushings for use with the pen turning assembly to securely hold a pen blank in the turning assembly while providing an accurate and precise turning reference for the pen turner.

System and method for detection of load and dump locations
A system for detecting a load location and a dump location at a worksite is provided. The system includes a controller coupled to a position detection module and a speed detection module. The controller receives a position signal and a speed signal associated with the machine. The controller identities a load location based on a relative distance between the machine and a loading tool and the speed of the machine. The controller monitors a velocity of the machine as the machine moves away from the identified load location, gathers data related to a plurality of stops made by the machine, and builds a heuristic model. The controller selects one stop from the plurality of stops as a dump location based on a distance between the respective dump location and the load location, a duration of stopping of the machine, and a confidence score associated with the respective dump location.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS RELATED TO BOARD NOTCHING
A notch cutter according to the present invention generally comprises a cutting head driven by a motor to cut a notch parallel to the wood grain of a board. The board is held in place by a board frame, while wood shavings are funneled away from the notch cutter through an exhaust. Pneumatic tubes may be used to facilitate linear movement of the cutting head and motor along guide rails. The motor and guide rails are protected by a casing that may include beams and a stabilizer.
ROUND BAR CUTTING DEVICE
A round bar cutting device includes a tool rest that is penetrated by a perforation for a round bar to pass through in axial direction. A virtual axis is defined to pass through the radial center of the perforation in the extension direction of the perforation. Four planer tools protrude from the tool rest. The planer tools are spaced apart around the axis as the center. A first edge is formed on one side of the planer tools towards the axis respectively, so as to cut a square bar which moves towards the perforation among the planer tools and rotates round the axis to form the round bar. The cutting device can fully cut the entire section of the square bar in the axial direction into the round bar, and the material utilization efficiency of the square bar is increased.
