GAPLESS BUFFER FOR MASONRY BLOCK MANUFACTURE
An apparatus for manufacturing masonry blocks, comprising a shoe, a backup plate, a plurality of buffers disposed between the shoe and the backup plate, a plurality of snubbers disposed between the shoe and the backup plate and wherein a relaxed height of the plurality of buffers is equal to or less than a height of the plurality of snubbers.
Concrete product machine mold assembly stripper head plate deflection impedance
A deflection impedance device is provided for a stripper head plate of a concrete product machine mold assembly. The device may comprise a spacer having an axial thickness generally equal to a desired spacing between an upper surface of a stripper head plate of a mold assembly stripper head, and a lower surface of a mold head adapter plate of a concrete product machine. A magnetic element may be used to retain the spacer on the stripper head plate upper surface where it will brace the stripper head plate against the mold head adapter plate to limit or prevent upward bowing that might otherwise result from forces imparted by concrete product being formed within the mold assembly.
Molding equipment for molding inter-engaging bricks and method of using the same
A molding equipment and method to mold stackable inter-engaging bricks, blocks, stones and the like and bricks, blocks, stones and the like produced therewith are disclosed. The molding equipment comprises a main structure which contains individual cavities. Each cavity preferably has a middle structure to which a brick separating element can be attached. Without the brick separating element, each cavity can form two attached splittable bricks whereas with the brick separating element attached, each cavity can hold two individual smooth or embossed face bricks. The size and shape of the stackable inter-engaging bricks is such that once out of the mold but still in an uncured form, the brick can stand on its side without falling down, being damaged, buckling or being otherwise deformed during the manufacturing process.

Device for producing concrete blocks
A device for producing concrete blocks, in particular concrete paving slabs, having a mold for filling with a concrete mixture, wherein the mold has at least one mold cavity for receiving the concrete mixture, and wherein the upwardly open mold cavity has walls as lateral boundaries, and wherein the at least one mold cavity can be filled with the concrete mixture by means of a filling device, and wherein the mold with the at least one mold cavity and the filling device are movable relative to one another in a filling axis. The filling axis is oriented obliquely to an axis of symmetry of the at least one mold cavity, with the result that preferably all of the walls of the mold cavity extend neither perpendicularly nor parallel to the filling axis, but at an angle.

METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SUBGRADE UTILITY VAULTS, LIDS AND TRENCHES USING RECYCLED POLYSTYRENE
Methods, compositions, and apparatuses are provided herein that utilize polystyrene from recycled products to make a high strength composite concrete that can be used for subgrade utility vaults, utility trenches, etc. Polystyrene is a widely-used plastic that can be collected and then densified at particular parameters including temperature to transform the polystyrene to a usable form. Then, the densified polystyrene is combined with other resin materials and dry materials to form a high-strength concrete material. The amount of densified polystyrene that is combined with the other materials is critical to control shrinkage and expansion of the concrete material during manufacturing.
