Molded plastic water storage tank
The cover of a plastic tank suitable for containing water is attached to the tank base by means of alternative joints, including elastically engageable features and lock features to prevent unwanted release. The base of a plastic water tank is comprised of a substrate and a liner and is formed by means which include injection molding into a mold where the core part of the mold is surrounded in part or full by the film which forms the liner.
LABEL HANDLING SYSTEM IN AN IN MOULD LABELLING MACHINE
A transfer device with unrolling device, intended for providing a label handling system in an IML machine (In Mould Labelling) with IML labels. The transfer device comprises at least four holders, which are movable between a first and a second position, wherein the first position has a first predetermined relationship between the four or several holders regarding the distance in the X-direction. The holders are intended for retrieval of IML labels from the unrolling device, which comprises a label web, the length of which extends in the Y-direction, with partially stamped out labels, connected to the web with micro connections. The second position has a second predetermined relationship between the four or several holders regarding distance in the X-direction. The holders are intended to deliver the IML labels to the label handling system. The unrolling device comprises adjustment means to make possible the retrieval of labels in the Y-direction, so that the distance in the Y-direction between delivered labels has a different distance in the Y-direction than between two adjacent labels in the web. Further, a method of providing an IML machine with IML labels.
Method of molding a lined plastic storage tank
A method of making a plastic tank suitable for containing water comprises forming a tank base which is partially or fully lined with a plastic layer that is different in character or color from the plastic material of the substrate of the tank base. The tank is alternatively formed by injection molding substrate material around the core of a mold which is partially or fully covered by the liner material, and by injecting liner material into the mold to bond it to the tank base substrate in conjunction with retracting part or all of the core, to provide space in the mold for the liner material.
Systems and methods for producing a sports ball
A method for forming a plurality of panels, which may comprise cutting a plurality of Polyurethane (PU) layer cutouts corresponding to a respective shape for each of the plurality of panels from a sheet of PU, placing each of the plurality of PU layer cutouts in a corresponding mold, forming each respective panel in each respective corresponding mold by injecting melted TPE into each of the corresponding molds for thirty to forty seconds, and creating a bladder valve panel by inserting a valve in one of the plurality of created panels. Method may further comprise forming a pre-finalized ball by attaching the plurality of the panels including the bladder valve panel to a bladder and respective edges to each of the plurality of the panels to respective edges of adjacent panels of the plurality of the panels, and placing the pre-finalized sports ball in a mold and applying heat to the pre-finalized sports ball.
