An injection-moulding machine, having a first platen, which is designed for carrying a first mould half of an injection mould, a second platen, which is designed for carrying a second mould half of the injection mould in such a way that in a closed state of the injection mould the first mould half and the second mould half delimit at least one cavity of the injection mould, and having an index shaft, which is mounted rotatably and axially adjustably on the injection-moulding machine outside the injection mould, is rotationally driven by of a motor of the injection-moulding machine arranged outside the injection mould and has an end portion which protrudes into the injection mould in the installed position of the injection mould in the injection-moulding machine, is designed for fastening on the index shaft an index plate to be arranged within the injection mould and has at least one channel which is designed to feed a fluid to the index plate or to remove a fluid from the index plate, wherein by means of the index shaft, driven by the motor, the index plate is automatically adjustable between a first plate position of the index plate and at least one second plate position of the index plate, and wherein the motor has a hollow motor shaft, through which the fluid is passed.
AN AUTOMATED IN-MOLD LABEL HANDLING AND PRODUCT UNLOADING DEVICE FOR A USE WITH A PLASTIC MATERIAL INJECTION MOLDING MACHINE
An automated in-mold label handling and product unloading device for use with a plastic material injection molding machine includes a label handling arm provided with a label holder at an outer end thereof, and a product unloading arm provided with a product gripper at an outer end thereof. The device has a stationary frame and a first linear guide device that supports the label handling arm so as to reciprocate along a y-axis direction. The device has a second linear guide device that supports the product unloading arm so as to reciprocate along a y-axis direction. The first and second linear guide devices are guided relative to the frame to be movable parallel to the x-axis. A label handling arm x-axis drive mechanism has a first drive motor mounted on the frame and a first transmission coupled to said first drive motor and to the first linear guide device.
DRIVE UNIT
A drive unit for driving at least one component of a molding machine, includes a first support, a spindle, a drive for rotating the spindle, a second support, a nut, at least one rod arranged on the second support, and an oil-tight seal. The spindle, the second support, and the nut are arranged along the spindle inside the oil-tight space in each movement position of the second support and the nut.
INJECTION MOLDING MACHINE
An injection molding machine, which includes a safety door that can be opened and closed, is further equipped with a servo motor configured to open and close the safety door, a presence detector configured to detect whether or not an operator or object is present within a door operating space of the safety door or within a predetermined vicinal area of the safety door including the door operating space, and a controller configured to control the servo motor with a reference control amount in order to perform a closing operation of the safety door, and during a time it is detected by the presence detector that an operator or object is present, to cause a control amount that controls the servo motor in order to perform the closing operation of the safety door to decrease from the reference control amount.
Injection unit for an injection molding machine
An injection unit for an injection molding machine includes a cylindrical body rotatably supported in a housing interior for rotational coupling with a plasticizing screw. The cylindrical body is fixed to rotate with the plasticizing screw about an injection axis. A gear train in the housing includes a central gear mounted about, and fixed to rotate with, the cylindrical body, the central gear having an uppermost extent vertically above the injection axis and opposed first and second lateral extents on horizontally opposed sides of the injection axis. A rotary drive for powering rotation of the plasticizing screw includes a first motor having a first motor shaft rotatable about a first motor axis, the first motor axis parallel to the injection axis, the first motor axis at a first elevation below the uppermost extent of the central gear, and laterally outboard of the first lateral extent of the central gear.
Injection molding apparatus
An injection molding apparatus includes an electric motor, a torque variable mechanism that changes an output torque of the electric motor, and a screw driving unit that transmits the output torque of the torque variable mechanism to a feed screw, whereby the feed screw is turned by the electric motor, the torque variable mechanism and the screw driving unit. The torque variable mechanism applies, to the feed screw, a torque equivalent to a hydraulic drive. The electric motor is interchangeable with a hydraulic motor to enable the injection molding apparatus to change between electric and hydraulic drive of the feed screw.

Methods and apparatuses for injection molding walled structures
A process is provided for making a walled structure using an injection molding apparatus. The apparatus has a molding space formed between a mold cavity and an inner core disposed within the mold cavity. The molding space defines a shape of the structure. The process includes injecting molding material into the molding space, moving or retaining a portion of a movable impression member protruding from the inner core within a portion of the molding space so as to create a recess within an inner wall of the structure, and retracting the impression member into the inner core such that the impression member is cleared from the molding space. Precision control in forming the impression member is provided by a closed-loop configuration using a sensor that measures a molding space parameter (e.g., temperature), optionally in combination with a servo drive for activating the impression member.
APPARATUS ASSOCIATED WITH AN INJECTION MOULDING MACHINE
An apparatus for coupling a first and a second part after they have been produced by injection moulding which includes: a linear runner, a carriage that is mounted on the runner, where it can make translations in a movement direction, and a pivoting member that is mounted cantilevered on the carriage in order to revolve in a planetary movement about a rotation axis perpendicular to the direction of movement of the carriage, so that the pivoting member revolving causes one of the two parts to turn over and enables it to be coupled with the other one. The motive part comprises a first electric drive mounted on the runner in order to move the carriage along the runner; and a second electric drive mounted on the carriage in order to cause the pivoting member to revolve so as to couple the two parts.
