BLOW MOLDING DEVICE AND BLOW MOLDING METHOD
A temperature adjusting unit of a blow molding apparatus includes: a first drive unit configured to drive a core mold, from which the cooling air is supplied, in a first direction; a second drive unit configured to drive a cavity mold that accommodates the preform in a second direction; a first lock portion configured to restrict a movement of the first drive unit in the second direction at a first position where the core mold is inserted into the preform; and a second lock portion configured to restrict a movement of the second drive unit in the first direction at a second position where the preform is accommodated in the cavity mold.
Counter stretch connecting rod and positive fill level control rod
A mold device and a method related thereto for forming a plastic container from a preform. The mold device comprises a mold defining a mold cavity, an optional stretch initiation rod system for engaging an interior portion of the preform to define a stretch initiation area, and a centrally disposed pressure source positionable within the preform for introducing a pressurized fluid.
Damper for air lines of an internal combustion engine having a turbocharger and method for producing said damper
A method for producing a damper for an air line of an internal combustion engine includes the following steps: providing a temperature-controlled inner part having passages; producing a tubular preform of an outer jacket from a thermoplastic melt; and attaching the temperature-controlled inner part to a blowing mandrel of a blow mold, which is open. The blowing mandrel has outlet openings and the passages are positioned over the outlet openings. The method further includes bringing the temperature-controlled preform over the inner part and closing the blow mold such that the preform is blown against the walls of the blow mold, whereby an outer jacket is obtained. Simultaneously, local connections between the inner part and the outer jacket are obtained by pressing the preform and the inner part against each other in some regions. Finally, the blow mold is opened and the damper is removed.
RESIN CONTAINER MANUFACTURING METHOD
The present application includes an injection molding step and a stretch blow molding step. The stretch blow molding step is configured to include: a first step in which preliminary blow air is introduced into a preform to stretch the preform in a state in which a stretching rod does not contact the bottom of the preform; a second step which is executed after the first step, and in which the preliminary blow air is introduced into the preform and the stretching rod is moved at a set speed and pressed against the bottom of the preform to stretch the preform; and a third step which is executed after the second step, and in which final blow air is introduced into the preform to stretch the preform.
DIE UNIT, BLOW MOLDING DEVICE, AND BLOW MOLDING METHOD
There is provided a mold unit for cooling a preform that has been injection-molded, the preform having a bottomed shape and made of a resin, the mold unit including a core mold having an outer shape corresponding to an inner shape of the preform, and being insertable into the preform, in which a flow path for a temperature adjustment medium extending in an axial direction of the core mold is formed inside the core mold, the flow path is formed at a position displaced in a circumferential direction of the core mold, and a position of the flow path is adjustable in the circumferential direction.
AMPOULE FILLED WITH A MEDICAL LIQUID AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME AND SYSTEM USED THEREFOR
Disclosed is a method and a system for producing an ampoule filled with a medical liquid. A preform is produced by plastic injection moulding that is then inhomogeneously heated and blown to form an ampoule body. Further disclosed is an ampoule produced by means of stretching and blowing, which comprises a connector with a break-off part in which the predetermined breaking point is aligned with the septum of the connector.
Method of delivering a liquid volume and associated apparatus
An apparatus for forming a container from a preform and delivering a predetermined volume of a liquid end product, formed by the addition of first and second liquid products, into the container. The apparatus includes a heating oven to heat the preform, a mold defining a cavity in the shape of the container, a stretch member coupled to an actuator to stretch the preform in the mold, an injection head configured to inject the second liquid product through the mouth of the preform so as to cause expansion of the preform within the mold thereby obtaining the container, and a preform filler to at least partially fill the preform with the first liquid prior to injecting of the second liquid product and before expanding of the preform into the container.
Preforms and method for producing preforms
The invention relates to a preform for producing a plastic container in a 2-stage stretch blow molding method, said preform having a preform body that extends along a central axis and that comprises: a first end a second end that lies opposite the first end, wherein the first end is closed and a neck part with a pouring opening adjoins the second end; and an inner wall that delimits an interior of the preform. Along a length of at least 30 mm of the interior, every point of the inner wall is at a distance of less than 3.5 mm from the central axis. Also disclosed are a suitable method and a device for producing such a preform.
POST-MOLD PROCESSING OF PREFORMS
Devices, systems, and methods are generally directed to cooling preforms in a receptacle having a controllable shape. As compared to cooling preforms in a receptacle having a fixed shape, the devices, systems, and method of the present disclosure may facilitate faster and more reliable post-processing of preforms. As an example, the devices, systems, and methods of the present disclosure may reduce the likelihood of transfer issues associated with moving a preform into the cavity while also facilitating faster cooling of the preform disposed in the receptacle.
