ASEPTIC FILLING METHOD AND ASEPTIC FILLING MACHINE

Even when the filling rate is high, the surface temperature of molded bottles is kept at a certain temperature or higher, and the bottles can be adequately sterilized with a sterilizer.

A preform is heated, the heated preform is sealed in a neck portion mold, a trunk portion mold and a bottom portion mold at a predetermined temperature range, and the preform sealed in the molds is blow-molded into a bottle. Any bottle is removed which has been molded in the neck portion mold, the trunk portion mold and the bottom portion mold the temperature of any of which is outside the predetermined temperature range, and a sterilizer is blasted to any bottle for sterilization which has been molded in the neck portion mold, the trunk portion mold and the bottom portion mold the temperature of all of which is in the predetermined temperature range.

ASEPTIC FILLING METHOD AND ASEPTIC FILLING MACHINE

Even when the filling speed increases, the surface temperature of a molded bottle falls within a constant range, and a sterilizer adequately sterilizes the bottle.

A preform is heated, the heated preform is sealed in a mold, the preform sealed in the mold is blow-molded into a bottle, the surface temperatures of a neck portion, a body portion, and a bottom portion of the molded bottle are measured, and the mold temperatures of a neck portion, a body portion, and a bottom portion of the mold is so adjusted that the measured surface temperature of the bottle falls within a specified temperature range.

The present application includes an injection molding step and a stretch blow molding step. The stretch blow molding step is configured to include: a first step in which preliminary blow air is introduced into a preform to stretch the preform in a state in which a stretching rod does not contact the bottom of the preform; a second step which is executed after the first step, and in which the preliminary blow air is introduced into the preform and the stretching rod is moved at a set speed and pressed against the bottom of the preform to stretch the preform; and a third step which is executed after the second step, and in which final blow air is introduced into the preform to stretch the preform.

Method of delivering a liquid volume and associated apparatus

An apparatus for forming a container from a preform and delivering a predetermined volume of a liquid end product, formed by the addition of first and second liquid products, into the container. The apparatus includes a heating oven to heat the preform, a mold defining a cavity in the shape of the container, a stretch member coupled to an actuator to stretch the preform in the mold, an injection head configured to inject the second liquid product through the mouth of the preform so as to cause expansion of the preform within the mold thereby obtaining the container, and a preform filler to at least partially fill the preform with the first liquid prior to injecting of the second liquid product and before expanding of the preform into the container.

METHOD FOR FABRICATING A CONTAINER AND THE CONTAINER

A container, preferably a bottle, is fabricated in a method comprising: —providing a preform comprising poly(ethylene 2, 5-furandicarboxylate); —stretch blow-molding the preform to form the container, wherein the stretch blow-molding comprises a stretching step of the preform to a ratio higher than the natural draw ratio of poly(ethylene 2, 5-furandicarboxylate) at a temperature in a range of 105° C. to 145° C., preferably in a range of 110° C. to 140° C., and at an equivalent axial strain rate at a reference temperature of 100° C. in the range of 0.001 to 10 s.sup.−1, preferably in a range of 0.03 to 3 s.sup.−1.

Article with different textured surfaces

A method of blow molding an article having at least one layer of thermoplastic material. The method comprises the steps of heating a mold having an inner surface with two or more areas of different surface textures to a first temperature of greater than 55° C. and subsequently feeding a parison into the mold. The parison is then blown against the inner surface of the mold to form an article. The temperature of the mold is subsequently lowered to a second temperature of between 20° C. to about 55° C. and the temperature cycle time (t.sub.ct) of the mold is less than 250 seconds. Using the two phase heating and cooling process in combination with a mold featuring different surface textures provides a finished article with different visual effects.

Method of delivering a liquid volume and associated apparatus

An apparatus and method of delivering a predetermined volume of a liquid product, defined as the liquid end product, formed by addition of a first and second liquid product, into a thermoplastic container formed from a heated preform positioned in a mold and having an opening opposite an injection head. Prior to injecting the second liquid product into the preform causing expansion of the container, the preform is at least partially, filled with the first liquid product.

Glossy container

A method of blow molding a glossy article having at least one layer of thermoplastic material. The method comprises the steps of feeding a parison of said thermoplastic material into a mold having an inner surface with at least a portion of SPI finish standard selected from the group consisting of A-1, A-2, A-3, B-1, B-2 and B-3 mold and a first temperature of greater than 55 C.; blowing the parison against the inner surface of the mold to form the article; and subsequently lowering the temperature of the mold to a second temperature of between 10 C. to 55 C. before release of the molded article. The cycle time of the mold (t.sub.ct) is less than 250 seconds.
