Injection Molding Machine Management System
An injection molding machine management system that manages an injection molding machine configured to mold a molded product by injection molding, and the injection molding machine management system includes: a physical quantity acquisition unit configured to acquire physical quantity information including at least any one of a first physical quantity representing a physical quantity related to the injection molding of the injection molding machine, a second physical quantity representing a physical quantity related to the injection molding of a molding mold mounted on the injection molding machine, and a third physical quantity representing a physical quantity related to quality of the molded product; a storage unit configured to store a cumulative number of shots of the molding mold in a predetermined maintenance period and the physical quantity information in time series; and a display unit configured to display a display screen on which the cumulative number of shots and a physical quantity included in the physical quantity information are displayed in the same time series. The maintenance period is a period from a first time point that is a time point at which the molding mold is maintained to a second time point that is a time point at which the molding mold is maintained after the first time point.
CONTROLLING FILLING AT LEAST ONE CAVITY USING AN IN-MOLD SWITCH
A system and method for determining the position of a flow of melt within an injection molding system comprises a switch and a pin that actuates the switch. The pin has a first end positioned closer to the anticipated flow path of the melt and a second end that is positioned to be in contact with the switch, such that when melt enters the anticipated flow path, the pin is pushed to activate the switch.
Method and apparatus for decorative molding
A method for decorative molding capable of reducing a preparation time at the time of replacing a mold and expecting improvement in positioning accuracy of a decorative pattern in a molded article includes supplying a film on which a decorative pattern is formed between a first mold and a second mold in a mold open state of a mold, imaging a mold-side alignment mark recorded in the mold and a film-side alignment mark recorded in the film by a camera, positioning the film with respect to the mold by moving the film so that the film-side alignment mark comes close to the mold-side alignment mark, injecting resin into the mold in a mold closed state in which the film is sandwiched between the first mold and the second mold and cooling the resin to form a molded article and opening the mold and taking out the molded article in which the decorative pattern of the film is transferred to the surface.
Open-face molding
An open-face molding apparatus for use in open-face injection molding operations to more accurately control the thickness of coatings applied to workpiece surfaces of slightly varying contour profiles. A conformable tool face is carried by a rigid tool backing and a perimeter seal releasably seals the conformable tool face around its perimeter to the workpiece surface. The conformable tool face and perimeter seal define a mold cavity together with the workpiece surface. An array of actuators are connected between the rigid tool backing and the conformable tool face to provide a desired tool face contour and desired spacings between the conformable tool face and a workpiece surface by deflecting the conformable tool face relative to the rigid tool backing.
Injection molding machine management system
An injection molding machine management system includes an injection molding machine, a take-out robot, an inspection device, a memory, and a processor. The processor is configured to receive physical information of the injection molding machine and a mold, and an inspection result of a molded product. The received physical information includes an identification information of the mold and the injection molding machine, a shot number of injection molding with respect to the mold, an injection filling time with respect to the mold, an injection pressure, a mold clamping force, and a set temperature of each part of the injection molding machine. The received physical information and the inspection result are displayed on a display. Necessity of maintenance is notified to an operator based on a predetermined maintenance period of time, the received physical information, and/or the inspection result.
INJECTION MOLDING METHOD OF RESIN MOLDED ARTICLE AND SPECIFYING METHOD OF CLAMPING FORCE
An injection molding method of a resin molded article closes a first die and a second die by a predetermined clamping force, conducts pressure holding and cooling after filling a cavity formed between the first die and the second die with a molten resin, and opens the first die and the second die. The injection molding method conducts clamping, filling, pressure holding, and cooling for the first die and the second die by a clamping force previously specified on the basis of a sample with which pressure in the cavity during a cooling process indicates a minimum and which is specified from samples of clamping forces.
