Filtering device and method for operating same
The invention relates to a filtering device for filtering a fluid, and in particular a liquefied plastic. The filtering device includes a control unit to control the position of a screen carrier by generating control signals such that the fluid pressure in a fluid inlet channel and/or in a fluid outlet channel remains within definable pressure ranges while a cavity is being filled.

An exposure control device (31) serves for equipping and/or retrofitting a generative layer-wise building device (1). The latter comprises an exposure device (20) which emits electromagnetic radiation (22) or particle radiation and is configured to irradiate positions to be solidified in a layer in such a way that after cooling they exist as an object cross-section or part of the same. The exposure control device (31) has a first data output interface (36), at which control commands can be output to the exposure device (20). The control commands which are output specify one of a plurality of exposure types wherein an exposure type is defined by a predetermined combination of a radiation energy density to be emitted by the exposure device (20) and a scanning pattern with which the radiation (22) is being directed to a region of a layer of the building material (15). Furthermore, the exposure control device (31) has a second data output interface (37) at which an exposure type can be output in real time in relation to a timing of the output of a control command specifying this exposure type.
Methods and system for mixing and dispensing viscous materials for the creation of additive structures
Various methods and systems are provided for mixing and dispensing viscous materials for the creation of additive structures. As one example, during a mixing and dispensing operation of a multi-dimensional printing apparatus, one or more liquids may flow into a mixing chamber via one or more material inlets arranged in a wall of the mixing chamber below a high pressure bearing of a mixing rod positioned within the mixing chamber; and movement of a mixing rod positioned within the mixing chamber is adjusted based on an operating condition of the printing apparatus.

Provided are methods and systems for dispensing filament adhesive onto a target substrate. A filament adhesive is applied on a target substrate according to a bead application plan, then the applied bead is checked against performance criteria. A second bead application plan is generated, and subsequent filament bead applied according to the second bead application plan.

A dispenser for discharging a mixture of gas and paste material includes: a nozzle part (2) provided in a tip end part of a body (11) and having a tip end opening; a flow path (4) for the mixture extending from an introduction part (5) for the mixture to the tip end opening through a hollow space of the nozzle part; a needle part (3) movable in the flow path of the nozzle part to open and close the flow path; a driving part (7, 8, and 9) that drives the needle part; and a stopper part (10, 14, and 16) that limits an operation range of the needle part. The nozzle part has a tapered section in which an inside diameter of the flow path of the nozzle part relative to an operation range of a tip end of the needle part decreases toward the tip end opening.

A rubber extrusion device comprises a control plate having an adjustment flow path communicating with an extrusion flow path formed in a head and an extrusion port formed in a die is interposed between the head and the die; the control plate is slid along and between the head and the die to change a position of a communication region of the extrusion flow path with respect to the adjustment flow path at a leading end opening of the extrusion flow path to set the control plate at a desired position; and unvulcanized rubber, obtained by mixing and kneading rubber material while extruding the rubber material forward with a screw, passes through the extrusion flow path and the adjustment flow path to be extruded from the extrusion port.

Provided is a three-dimensional modeling material used for a fused deposition modeling three-dimensional printer. The three-dimensional modeling material has a multilayer structure and contains, in respective different layers, a thermoplastic resin (A) having a shear storage elastic modulus (G′) of 1.00×10.sup.7 Pa or less as measured at 100° C. and 1 Hz and a thermoplastic resin (B) having a shear storage elastic modulus (G′) of more than 1.00×10.sup.7 Pa as measured at 100° C. and 1 Hz.

Provided is a three-dimensional modeling material used for a fused deposition modeling three-dimensional printer. The three-dimensional modeling material has a multilayer structure and contains, in respective different layers, a thermoplastic resin (A) having a shear storage elastic modulus (G′) of 1.00×10.sup.7 Pa or less as measured at 100° C. and 1 Hz and a thermoplastic resin (B) having a shear storage elastic modulus (G′) of more than 1.00×10.sup.7 Pa as measured at 100° C. and 1 Hz.
3D-printer system having a pneumatic system for preventing drippage of excess print material
An apparatus is disclosed that includes a printer cartridge having a cartridge barrel for containing print material, an extruder having a nozzle and a lever arm, the lever arm including a plunger, the plunger having an inlet port, and a pneumatic system including a pneumatic piston, a solenoid valve and a Y-connector, wherein the pneumatic piston is configured to receive pressurized air from (1) the Y-connector to lower the lever arm to align the inlet port with an entry point of the extruder enabling print material to flow into the extruder through the inlet port, and (2) the solenoid valve to raise the lever arm to misalign the inlet port and the entry point to prevent additional print material to flow into the extruder. The apparatus further includes a build platform, and a plurality of rods and screws for guiding the extruder to dispense print material on the build platform.
