The present disclosure relates to a screw of an injection molding machine in which a heating cylinder is formed with a first compression section, a starvation section, and a second compression section, and in which an inert gas is to be introduced into the starvation section. At a portion of the screw corresponding to the first compression section, a barrier flight as a double flight including a combination of a main flight and a sub-flight having a lead angle larger than that of the main flight is formed, and a dam flight having a predetermined-width ring shape is formed, downstream of, i.e., in front of the barrier flight. A seal structure to prevent backflow of the resin may be provided between the dam flight and the starvation section.
MOLDING DEVICE AND INJECTION MOLDING METHOD THEREOF
A molding device and an injection molding method thereof are provided. The molding device includes a first mold, a second mold and a sealing ring. The first mold includes a first body and at least one slide. The at least one slide is movably and detachably disposed on the first body, and has an undercut. The injection molding method includes operations of: engaging the first mold with the second mold of the molding device; filling a mold cavity defined by the first mold and the second mold with a gas, wherein the gas is blocked by the sealing ring disposed between the first mold and the second mold; injecting a molding material into the mold cavity; and opening the first mold and the second mold of the molding device.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING MOLDED FOAM, AND MOLDED FOAM
Provided are a method for manufacturing a molded foam, and a molded foam. A method for manufacturing a molded foam includes: a molding step of molding the molded foam; and a releasing step of opening a fixed mold and a mobile mold and extruding the molded foam from the fixed mold by an ejector pin. The molded foam has an inclined face that is inclined relative to a direction of opening the mold. The inclined face has a recess for extruding of the molded foam by the ejector pin. The tip surface of the ejector pin has a first extruding surface that is perpendicular to the mold opening direction and forms a bottom face of the recess, and a second extruding surface that is inclined relative to the first extruding surface.

An insert device for sealing a conduit, wherein at least one component of the insert device is configured to separate and position at least one wire in the conduit in order to create a space or inner volume for a sealant to be introduced thereinto. The present disclosure relates to a screw of an injection molding machine in which a heating cylinder is formed with a first compression section, a starvation section, and a second compression section, and in which an inert gas is to be introduced into the starvation section. The invention relates to a film laminate, including at least one compact decorative layer with a lacquer layer on the upper side and with a foam layer on the underside, where the density of the foam layer is more than 500 kg/m.sup.3. The invention further relates to the use of said film laminate for the coating of components for the interior trim of motor vehicles and to interior trim parts of motor vehicles provided with said film laminate. The foam layer is based on a composition which includes from 15 to 60 parts by weight of at least one thermoplastic vulcanizate, from 15 to 35 parts by weight of at least one high melt strength polyolefin, and from 30 to 60 parts by weight of at least one low density polyethylene (LDPE).

A structural component for a vehicle and a process and system for forming the structural component. A first cavity is formed in a first hollow passage between a first bladder and an interior surface of a component forming the structural component. A first structural reinforcement layer is formed in the first cavity by filling the first cavity with a first polymer resin and foaming the first polymer resin to form a first polymer resin foam. A second cavity is formed in the first hollow passage and a second structural reinforcement layer is formed in the second cavity by filling the second cavity with a second polymer resin and foaming the second polymer resin to form a second polymer resin foam.
