Method for manufacturing a lacrosse head pocket
A lacrosse head pocket includes a plug unit having first and second plugs disposed on a cross lace. The plugs are overmolded by first and/or second runners constructed from a polymeric material so that the plugs are joined with the first and/or second runners. The cross lace extends outwardly from the plug and the overmolded first and/or second runners. Some plug units can have cross laces that cross one another, while other plug units might not include cross laces that cross one another. A method is also provided including: forming a first plug on a first cross lace, placing the first plug in a mold, overmolding a first runner over at least a portion of the plug so the plug and first runner are joined, and optionally overmolding a second plug joined with the cross lace with a second runner or the same first runner.
Thermal plastic elastomer injection mold, water impervious slide fastener manufactured utilizing the same and finished product having the water impervious slide fastener
A thermal plastic elastomer injection mold comprises: a mold base, formed with a platform having a top surface thereof formed with an arc-shaped surface adhered with a pair of support-tapes of a slide fastener and formed with an elongated arc-shaped ridge having a wedge-shaped tip thereby being able to be stably moved into a gap between the pair of support-tapes and a surface of the arc-shaped ridge is formed with a thermal plastic elastomer injection port connected to at least one extruder; and a thermal plastic elastomer, extruded out from the at least one extruder and passing the thermal plastic elastomer injection port so as to be injected into the gap and slits inside two rows of coupling elements disposed at inner edges of the pair of support-tapes, wherein the slide fastener is formed with a water impervious structure after the thermal plastic elastomer inside the gap is cut.
Method for manufacturing a watertight zipper
A method for manufacturing a watertight zipper solves the problem of low watertight effect of the modern watertight zipper. The method includes producing a waterproof stringer tape and forming a waterproof layer by injection molding. The waterproof layer covers a lateral edge of the waterproof stringer tape and includes a plurality of recesses. The method for manufacturing the watertight zipper further includes forming an aperture in each of the plurality of recesses. The aperture extends through the waterproof layer and the waterproof stringer tape. The method for manufacturing the watertight zipper further includes forming a plurality of scoops in the plurality of recesses by injection molding.
Fastener tape woven from yarns including plant-derived resin, fastener stringer and method of producing the same
A fastener tape includes a first side-edge portion including a core cord and a plurality of first ground warp yarns; and a tape main portion adjacently positioned to the first side-edge portion and including a plurality of second ground warp yarns. A weft yarn and every ground warp yarn of the fastener tape are yarns including plant-derived resin. The first ground warp yarn is FDY (Fully Drawn Yarn) and the second ground warp yarn is DTY (Drawn Textured Yarn) and in accordance with this difference in yarn type, a thermal shrinkage ratio of the first ground warp yarn is greater than a thermal shrinkage ratio of the second ground warp yarn.
LACROSSE HEAD POCKET AND RELATED METHOD OF MANUFACTURE

SLIDE FASTENER AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING STRINGER FOR SLIDE FASTENER
A slide fastener includes: a pair of stringers; and a slider. The pair of stringers include: a pair of tapes, a pair of element rows each including a plurality of elements, and an opener. At least one element row includes the elements of a plurality of types, and is classified into a neighboring class, and a remote class. Regarding an impact to be applied to the elements and the stop claw which collide inside the slider when a force for pulling out one of the element rows from the slider is applied to the one element row, the elements forming the remote class include strong elements of a type configured to strengthen the impact more than the elements forming the neighboring class. All of the elements forming the neighboring class are weak elements of a type configured to weaken the impact more than the strong elements.
