MULTI-COMPONENT INJECTION MOULDING MACHINE
20220314507 · 2022-10-06 ·

A multi-component injection moulding machine provided has a machine bed, two mould mounting plates movable relative to one another by a closing unit, an injection unit and an extruder unit. The injection unit moves relative to the neighbouring mould mounting plate and has a nozzle having a nozzle head. The extruder unit is adjustable between a first position, where a nozzle contact of the extruder unit rests on the nozzle head, and a second position releasing the injection unit for contacting of the nozzle head on a tool mounted on the neighbouring mould mounting plate. In the first position, the extruder unit and the injection unit can be directly coupled, and the extruder unit has a coupling unit having a second clamping element cooperating mechanically with a clamping element on the injection unit such that the coupling device provides a pressing force of the nozzle head on the nozzle contact.

Apparatus and method for manufacturing crash pad

An apparatus and method for manufacturing a crash pad with a foaming layer formed by injecting a foaming solution between a core and a skin are disclosed. The apparatus includes a first mold and a second mold used to form the skin by injecting molten resin of a skin material into a skin forming cavity when the first and second molds are combined. In addition, a third mold and the fourth mold form the core by injecting molten resin of a core material into a core forming cavity when the third and fourth molds are combined. The first mold has a vacuum aperture in an inner surface of the first mold to adsorb and fix a thread to implement a stitch before the forming of the skin, and the vacuum aperture exerts a vacuum suctioning force to absorb and fix via a vacuum pressure applied from a vacuum pressure providing unit.

INJECTION UNIT FOR A MOULDING MACHINE AND METHOD FOR INJECTING A PLASTICIZED MASS
20210402658 · 2021-12-30 ·

An injection unit for a moulding machine includes an injection cylinder, and an injection piston is provided in the injection cylinder. During an injection process, the injection piston is configured to push out a plasticized mass—in particular plasticized plastic—from the injection cylinder and to feed it to a moulding tool via an injection nozzle. At least two plasticizing units and two supply channels are provided, and the at least two plasticizing units can be fluidically connected with the injection nozzle by the supply channels. The at least two plasticizing units are configured to supply the injection cylinder with the plasticized mass via the supply channels and the injection nozzle prior to the injection process.

Method for producing a toothbrush, and toothbrush

A grip body of a body care article, such as toothbrush, includes a grip part, a neck part, and a head part. The grip body includes a first and a second material component of a thermoplastic plastic. Manufacturing of the grip body is performed via an injection moulding tool with at least one tool cavity, and the grip body including a first, second, and third material component of a first, second, and third thermoplastic material, respectively.

Interior parts for vehicles and method of molding the same

A method of molding an interior part for a vehicle includes determining a 3D graphic sample model. A shape of the sample model has concave portions having curvatures determined through 3D modeling and gradients of an inner surface of each concave portion. A molded sample having the same general shape as the sample model is injection molded. Information related to scratch occurrence positions is acquired from the molded sample. Information of curvatures and gradients of the concave portions of the sample model are acquired and collected at positions on the sample model corresponding to the scratch occurrence positions. A limit angle and limit angle are determined by using the collected information and preset curvatures for the concave portion of a design of the interior part. The interior part having the concave portion with a shape based on the determined draft angle and the preset curvatures can then be injection molded.

Headlight lens assembly

A method for manufacturing a seat shell for a chair includes three method steps (a) to (c). According to a first step (a), a carrier made of a plastic material is provided, on the front side of which a plastic film is arranged. According to a second step (b), the carrier with the plastic film is deep drawn by a deep drawing tool such that the front side of the carrier with the plastic film has a predefined three-dimensional surface contour after the deep drawing. According to a third step (c), a rear side of the carrier is encapsulated by injection molding with the plastic material.
