A hook-and-loop fastener connector having a plurality of hooks (7) arranged on a base plate (16). The hooks (7) exhibit a hook foot (8) and a hook head (9). The hook foot (8) and hook head (9) are arranged within one plane. The plane (10) and the base plate (16) are angled to each other at an angle (ß) greater than 90°.

A multifunctional soft pet paw cleaning cup includes a cup body made of a soft material. One end of the cup body is an open end. Soft spikes extending towards the center of the cup body are provided on the inner surface of the side wall and/or the inner surface of the bottom wall of the cup body, and the soft spike is made of a soft material. A mold for preparing the paw cleaning cup includes an inner mold core, an outer mold core, an upper mold and a lower mold. The outer mold core has an annular peripheral wall. A first soft spike hole is formed inside the peripheral wall. The inner mold core is provided at the inner side of the outer mold core. The lower mold is located below the outer mold core, and the inner mold core is fixed below the upper mold.
SIGNALING ARRANGEMENTS EMPLOYING MOLDED THERMOPLASTICS
A thermoplastic resin is molded to define a container bearing a surface 2D code signal, such as a digital watermark pattern. In some arrangements, the mold dimensions are tailored, and process parameters are selected, so that an indentation in the mold gives rise to a corresponding indentation—rather than a corresponding protrusion—in the shaped plastic. In other arrangements, a metal mold is provided with a patterned resin on its surface to define the 2D code signal. The resin may take the form of a rigid or non-rigid insert that can be removed or re-worked to change the code signal without changing the metal mold. The invention relates to a brush, in particular an interdental brush, which comprises a bristle-carrying stem defining a longitudinal direction and having an elongate support core, a bristle area having bristles projecting from the bristle-carrying stem, and a neck element connecting the support core to a handle, wherein the handle, the support core and the neck element are injection moulded integrally from a first plastics component, and wherein a second plastics component in the form of an integral layer and the bristles projecting therefrom is mounted on the support core. The invention also relates to corresponding product groups and to a corresponding method.
DIE INSERT FOR MOLDING A SPEAKER GRILLE
An insert of a die for molding a speaker grille includes a forming member. The forming member defines a forming surface, from which a plurality of pins extend for forming apertures in a speaker grille. The forming surface defines a plurality of apertures disposed at spaced locations between the pins. The apertures are interconnected with a plurality vent channels communicating the apertures with the vent channels for venting air disposed in a die when melted polymer used to form the speaker grill is injected into the die. The forming member and the vent channels are formed as a monolithic construction.
Method for manufacturing a one-piece, multi-component injection molded brush
The invention relates to a method for producing a brush, particularly in the form of a mascara applicator, with bristles injection molded out of different injection molding compounds, using an injection mold that has a main cavity, which forms the bristle support, and secondary cavities branching off from this, with each secondary cavity forming a single bristle and with at least one first injection molding compound being injected into the main cavity, followed by a second injection molding compound in successive steps; at least one slider is inserted into the main cavity and closes part of the secondary cavities so that the first injection molding compound only travels into another part of the secondary cavities after which the slider is withdrawn and the second injection molding compound is injected so that it travels into the secondary cavities previously closed by the slider.
Mold insert and method of making a mold insert
A mold insert has at least one filament cavity and a stack of at least a first and second insert plates, wherein the first plate has a front face that closely abuts a front face of the second insert plate. A portion of the a filament cavity is provided in at least one of the front faces of the first and second insert plates such that the filament cavity is open at a top surface of the mold insert but does not extend to a bottom surface of the mold insert. A venting cavity is provided in the same front face of the insert plate in which the portion of the at least one filament cavity is provided. The venting cavity, which is in air-conducting connection with the blind-hole end of the filament cavity, has a depth between 1 μm and 20 μm. A method of manufacturing the mold insert includes providing first and second insert plates, forming a portion of a filament cavity into at least one of the front faces of the insert plates, forming a venting cavity into the front face with the filament cavity, and bringing the front faces of the plates into close abutment to form a filament cavity.

At least one application element of the applicator includes a base portion and at least one thin projection. The thin projection includes at least one surface and wherein the at least one outer surface flushes with at least a portion of an outer surface of the base portion.
