METHOD OF MANUFACTURING TOY FINGER BOARD WITH REMOVABLY ATTACHABLE FINGER SHOES
A method of manufacturing a toy finger skateboard may include inserting a flange portion of a toy finger skateboard truck into a flange receiver of a toy finger skateboard deck. The toy finger skateboard truck is moved such that a column portion of the toy finger skateboard truck is received by a through hole of the toy finger skateboard deck, and then, the method involves interacting with a top end of the column portion of the toy finger skateboard truck to affix the toy finger skateboard truck to the toy finger skateboard deck. A portion of the top end of the column portion may be cylindrical. The top end of the column portion of the toy finger skateboard truck may be welded to a seat portion of the toy finger skateboard deck, and the welding may include spin welding.
Toy finger board with removably attachable finger shoes and method of manufacturing the same
A toy finger board kit includes a board and at least one shoe. Each shoe includes a finger hole in an upper of the shoe and at least one bracket on a sole of shoe. The at least one bracket is configured to removably attach the at least one shoe to the board. In some instances, the board is formed by inserting a flange portion of a toy finger skateboard truck into a flange receiver of a toy finger skateboard deck. Then, the toy finger skateboard truck is moved such that a column portion of the toy finger skateboard truck is received by a through hole of the toy finger skateboard deck. Finally, a top end of the column portion of the toy finger skateboard truck is affixed to the toy finger skateboard truck to the toy finger skateboard deck.
SECURING A SECOND OBJECT TO A FIRST OBJECT
A method of manufacturing a lightweight building element assembly is disclosed. The assembly firstly comprises a first object (1) being a lightweight building element that has a first outer building layer (11) and an interlining layer (13). The assembly further comprises a second object (2) secured to the first object. The method comprises firstly providing the first object, wherein the first object has an indentation (19) formed by the first outer building layer. The indentation may form a blind opening or a through opening in the first object. The method further comprises providing the second object (2), wherein the second object comprises an outer surface portion of a thermoplastic material, wherein the outer surface portion is a lateral outer surface portion with respect to an axis. The second object is brought in contact with the first object so that the lateral outer surface is in physical contact with the sidewall (14), and mechanical energy is coupled into the second object so as to cause energy absorption due to friction between the lateral outer surface and the lateral wall, until a flow portion of the thermoplastic material becomes liquefiable and flows relative to the lateral wall. After re-solidification of the thermoplastic material, the flow portion secures the second object to the first object.
Pipe fitting incorporating a spherical spin weld
A two-piece connection between a supply pipe from a source of water and a connection to a fire sprinkler with the connector having a first or rear section entirely above a ceiling and a second or front section connected to the first section with the connection entirely above a ceiling and the forward portion of second section connected to the fire sprinkler. The first connector section, located entirely above a ceiling, has a spherical male sidewall with a rounded leading edge and a rear portion of the second connector section has a spherical female interior surface.
Hollow molded article and method of producing the same
A hollow molded article having a joining site where two or more split objects are welded by plastic welding and comes into contact with pressurized hydrogen, wherein an average spherulite size in a portion which is 500 μm deep inside from a surface of the hollow molded article is 20 μm or less, and a tensile strength of a test piece containing the joining site of the hollow molded article is 80% or more based on a tensile strength of a test piece not containing the joining site of the hollow molded article.
Pipe device having a bonded joint
A pipe device includes a pipe and a connection element. The pipe has a pipe jacket that has an inner surface and an outer surface and forms a flow channel. The connection element forms a through-channel that extends from a connection piece consisting of a first material (M1) and having a first opening to a second opening. The pipe jacket is positioned on the connection piece with a first pipe end consisting of a second material (M2). A bonded connection is formed between the first material (M1) and the second material (M2) in a contact region between the inner surface of the pipe jacket and a peripheral surface of the connection piece.
WELDABLE THERMOPLASTIC COMPOSITE COMPOSITES
The invention relates to the use of a low Tg compatible resin as an adhesive layer for the welding of a thermoplastic composite structure to a thermoplastic or thermoset structure. The invention is especially good for the welding of large parts, such as wind turbine halves and spar caps. A useful thermoplastic composite is one formed by the infusion and curing of long fibers by a reactive acrylic liquid resin system, such as ELIUM® resin systems from Arkema.
Friction Stir Processing Tool Having Non-Circumferential Shoulder and Friction Stir Processing Method Performable Therewith
A friction stir processing tool for friction stir processing includes a shoulder for pressing against a workpiece surface and a pin, which protrudes beyond the shoulder and can be driven to rotate, for plasticizing introduction into at least one workpiece to be processed. The shoulder has an interruption opening on a circumferential region, so that the shoulder is not led around the entire circumference of the pin.
Modular Backshell Housing
A backshell housing includes a pair of housing parts including a first housing part and a second housing part friction welded to one another. A cable passage of the first housing part is continuous with a cable passage of the second housing part.
